* HeyItsThatGuy: A teenage [[Series/NeverMindTheBuzzcocks Simon]] [[Series/GrandmasHouse Amstell]] appeared on an episode in the mid-1990s.
-->'''Simon:''' [[HilariousInHindsight "Can I be the game show host?"]]
** Art James- of ''Series/{{Concentration}}'', ''Super Pay Cards'', and ''Series/TheMagnificentMarbleMachine''- was the host, and was his final hosting gig (his final work with real game shows was filling in as announcer on ''Classic Concentration'' in 1991, and later made an appearance as a fictional host in ''Film/{{Mallrats}}'', trying- and failing- to keep order on a ripoff of ''Series/TheDatingGame'' that the characters invaded).
* HeyItsThatVoice: John Harlan- of ''Series/NameThatTune'', ''[[Series/{{Password}} ABC Password]]'', ''[[Series/{{Jeopardy}} The All-New Jeopardy!]]'', and ''Series/TheCrossWits''- was the announcer for the US version.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Whilst Challenge TV shows all episodes from the Carlton-era series whilst Roy Walker was hosting, the original run by TVS (from 1986 to 1993) will likely never see the light of day again, as most all of the TVS library is owned by Disney, and the paperwork for the TVS archives is supposedly lost. However, episodes from the TVS era do exist on Website/YouTube to be watched at any time, presuming that no one tries to call copyright.
** Meanwhile, the original American version is presumably held by Warner Bros. TV (they acquired the distributor, Telepictures, along with Lorimar in 1989), but hasn't been seen anywhere since the original run.
* MissingEpisode: To go with the above mention of the TVS episodes never being aired on TV anymore, whilst episodes of the original British series are being uploaded to [=YouTube=], some episodes are totally lost, though this would mainly be due to Challenge's original incarnation, The Family Channel, not airing certain episodes, mainly the original celebrity specials.
* TitleSequence: Would you believe that the opening titles for the 1986-1993 series were created by ''Creator/ElectronicArts'', of all people?
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Wink Martindale posted on Youtube a sizzle reel for a potential US revival series- it didn't get picked up, though. [[Series/{{Whammy}} Todd]] [[Series/FamilyGameNight Newton]] hosted. See it [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdnVYPCKX3s here]].
