- Acting for Two: In the Latin American Spanish dub, Yoshiyuki Terada and Kero's false form are voiced by Igor Cruz, and the Nothing Card and Kaho Mizuki are voiced by Dulce Guerrero.
- Crossdressing Voices:
- Syaoran, the only boy in the main group is voiced by Mona Marshall in the English dub when in Cardcaptors he was voiced by Rhys Huber and Jordan Kilik and, most recently, by Jason Liebrecht in Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.
- The same for Kero's false form who is voiced by Wendee Lee.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The North American DVD became rare enough following the collapse of Geneon in 2007. Thankfully averted with Discotek Media picking up the rights and releasing a 15th anniversary DVD/Blu-ray in 2018 at long last, not to mention a short limited theatrical run to coincide with the release of Clear Card.
- The Other Darrin:
- Due to the English dub being produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment in Los Angeles, every role in Cardcaptors was inevitably recast. For example:
- Kari Wahlgren takes over from Carly McKillip as Sakura Kinemoto.
- Mona Marshall replaces Rhys Huber and Jordan Kilik as Syaoran Li.
- Wendee Lee and Dave Wittenberg from Matt Hill and Richard Newman as Kero.
- Michelle Ruff from Maggie Blue O'Hara as Tomoyo Daidouji.
- Julie Maddalena from Nicole Oliver as Meiling Li.
- In the Latin American Spanish dub, Yamil Atala doesn't reprise his role as Kero, so he was replaced by Igor Cruz as the character's false form, and Sergio Bonilla as his real form.
- Due to the English dub being produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment in Los Angeles, every role in Cardcaptors was inevitably recast. For example:
- Studio Hop: This time around, Bang Zoom! Entertainment produced the English dub instead of The Ocean Group.
- Two Voices, One Character:
- In the English dub, Kero's false form is voiced by Wendee Lee and his real form is voiced by Dave Wittenberg.
- Ditto for the Latin American Spanish dub, where Kero's false and real forms are respectively voiced by Igor Cruz and Sergio Bonilla
- You Sound Familiar: The Nothing Card is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, who sang the third opening theme to the original TV series.
