  • No Export for You: In the days before the film came out, but its page was visible on Netflix, some users were confused that they saw a runtime of 2 minutes rather than 90. When it was released this was revealed: if you are trying to watch an interactive episode on certain devices (even if the Netflix app has been updated), it instead plays an informational video telling you to switch to another device so that the features will work.

    • Its Spiritual Antithesis Kimmy vs. The Reverend, which also uses the Branch Manager technology. One of the "bad ending" dialogues has Mikey comment that the special got "really dark, like Spooky Mirror."
    • The locked safe is referenced by a random event in Surviving Mars, in which you're given a locked box from your recently deceased mentor along with a note saying that you should know the code. Two of the five multiple choice answers the game gives you are TOY and PAC.
  • What Could Have Been: Warren Ellis was offered the role of Jerome F. Davis, but was unable to commit due to a potential scheduling conflict.
  • Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Will Poulter got a ton of harassment on Twitter from people who didn't like the film, causing him to put his social media activity on an indefinite hold within a week of the film's release.
