• Irony as She Is Cast: While Glyn Grimstead plays a prisoner in this episode, he had previously played Eric, a cop who was overly-devoted to his job, in Series 5.
• The Other Darrin: Although he had previously appeared in a photo in "Stand By Your Man", this episode marks Douglas McFerran's first time playing Darryl on-screen after taking over the role from Alun Lewis.
• The Original Darrin: Chris is once again played by David Cardy, having last played the role in "Substitute" eight years prior before Peter Polycarpou took over.
• You Look Familiar: Hopeless is played by Glyn Grimstead, who had previously played Eric in "All Gone Pear Shaped".
