Trivia / Aquaman: King of Atlantis

• The Other Darrin: The series was in large part inspired by 2018's Aquaman film (and executively produced by James Wan), and so we have:
  • Cooper Andrews as Aquaman instead of Jason Momoa. Interestingly, Andrews plays Victor Vasquez in the DC Extended Universe, in which the Aquaman film takes place.
  • Gillian Jacobs as Mera instead of Amber Heard.
  • Thomas Lennon as Vulko instead of Willem Dafoe.
  • Dana Snyder as Ocean Master instead of Patrick Wilson.
• Production Posse: A lot of the crew return from Thundercats Roar along with the executive producer of the film; James Wan. While he wasn't in the Aquaman film, Cooper Andrews was in another DC film.
• Role Reprise: In the French dub, Mera is voiced by Céline Melloul, reprising her role from both Justice League: Throne of Atlantis and LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis.
