Go To

  • Acting for Two:
    • Antti Pääkkönen voices Red, King Pig, and various minion pigs.
    • Antti LJ Pääkkönen voices Chuck, Matilda, Bubbles, Corporal Pig, and various minion pigs.
    • Heljä Heikkinen voices Terence and the Blues (alongside Lynne Guaglione for the latter).
  • Channel Hop: When the series first premeired, it was available through the Angry Birds games through a "channel" titled "Toons" that could be accessed from the main menu. It was later given a name: ToonsTV, and expanded to its own website and got a standalone app. In 2017, Rovio Entertainment shut down the ToonsTV apps and sites, and moved all of their animated series, including Toons, to their YouTube channel.
  • Content Leak:
    • "Hambo", "Bird Flu", "Piggies From the Deep", and "Oh Gnome!" were leaked online and uploaded onto Vimeo weeks before their respective air dates.
    • Due to a glitch in the ToonsTV app, "Eggshaustion" was leaked one month before its official air date.
  • Crossdressing Voices: Matilda is voiced by a man, and the Blues and Terence are voiced by women.
  • Meaningful Release Date: "Do as I Say!", which is about Matilda being a mother figure to the Blues, premiered on May 12, 2013, which was Mother's Day.
  • Milestone Celebration: "The Butler Did It!" is the 100th episode of the entire series.
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: In "Trojan Egg", when Red and Chuck return the wooden egg to the pigs, a drawing of Red and Chuck can be seen seen on a flag on the egg. Said drawing is actually a real drawing made by a fan named Salvador.
  • Out of Order: "Fired Up", which aired during the latter half of season 1, was clearly a leftover from early Season 1, as it is done in CG like the earlier episodes. A short clip from the episode could be seen in one of the trailers (at the 0:35 mark) for the show before it premiered.
  • Prop Recycling: A few props have been reused throughout the series, such as the gnome from "Oh Gnome!" and the toy dog from "Joy to the Pigs" and "Dogzilla".
  • Short Run in Peru: "Gate Crasher" and "Hog Roast" premiered on Indonesian television weeks before they were officially released on the Toons channel.
  • What Could Have Been: Has its own page.
