• Blooper:
  • Martin P. Robinson does Dr. Teeth in the scene where the Electric Mayhem leaves for vacation and one of his lines ("I'm all about far out, but the Pole is way too cold!") wasn't redubbed by Bill Barretta. Likewise, in the extended version, one of Tyler Bunch's lines as Rizzo during one of the airport scenes ("Who wants to fly to the North Pole?") was left intact as well.
• Late Export for You: The special was released in Italy for the first time in 2021, when Disney+ aired it.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Five of Jerry Nelson's characters and three of Richard Hunt's characters are recast starting with this special. Scooter and Janice were recast to David Rudman (who continues performing them to this day); Robin, Floyd Pepper, Camilla, Lew Zealand and Crazy Harry were given to Matt Vogel (the latter four still performed by Vogel today, and Robin until 2017), and Sweetums was performed by Noel MacNeal (he'd be recast to Vogel the following year).
  • Martin P.
