1950s-1970s

• 1943: William Afton is born
• 1967: Michael Afton is born
• 1973: Evan Afton is born.
• 1976: Henry Emily and William Afton open Fredbear's Family Diner for the first time.

1980s-1990s

• Five Nights at Freddy's: Nightmare
  • 1983:
    • Fazbear and Friends releases.
    • Evan's tenth birthday party, a prank created by Michael and his friends goes wrong when Evan is murdered by the jaws of the Fredbear animatronic.
  • Nightmare starts gaining a physical form.
  • Stage 01 minigame takes place
• 1985: Freddy Fazbear. Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy the Pirate are built and placed into a new pizzeria, where the group are given sentience by an unknown means, theorized to be remnant, and Freddy gains heightened awareness. He murders a night guard and starts beginning his killing spree.
• 1986:
  • Due to the murders of the guards, Freddy's I is closed.
  • Charlie Emily is murdered.
• Five Nights at Freddy's: Withered
  • 1987:
    • The Missing Children's Incident happens, and the kids possess the newly found toys.
    • Jeremy Fitzgerald takes the night shift, with Michael Afton (under the guise of Fritz Smith) follows suit. Jeremy is murdered by the old Freddy and possesses the Shadow Bonnie suit. Michael Afton completes Night 5 and Night 6 as Jeremy's spirit within the suit begins following him around.
    • The Bite of 87' occurs, with Michael Afton being implied to be the victim, Michael survives the incident, causing Nightmare to hunt him.
    • Chica's Party and Mangle's Quest minigames take place.
• 1991: Freddy's III opens, and as Freddy's goals slowly grow, the other three's do as well.
• Five Nights at Freddy's: Refurbished/Afton
  • 1993:
    • Michael takes the night shift at Freddy's III, with Freddy hunting him and eventually framing him for the murder of a previous night guard.
  • 1994:
    • Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy are chopped down by William. William is springlocked by Nightmare and the Crying Child.
    • Bonnie's Lullaby minigame takes place.

2010s-2020s

• 2011: Tracy is almost murdered by Nightmare, causing her to gain childhood trauma.
• 2022': William is found and recovered by Tom and Jerry, who open up Fazbear's Fright.
• Five Nights at Freddy's: Springlocked
  • 2023:
    • Fazbear Fright opens.
    • Springtrap becomes sentient
    • Michael takes the night shift at Fazbear Fright, and he burns down the place, with Springtrap being dragged to hell by Nightmare in the end.
    • Happiest Day minigame takes place, Old Man Consequences tells Michael to burn the building down.
• Five Nights at Freddy's: Finale
  • 2023-2025: Michael slowly blows down every Freddy's place, saving Freddy's III for last.
  • 2026:
    • Tracy, Aaron, Matthew, Grant, and Gary sneak into the long-abandoned Freddy's III. However, the animatronics are still revealed to be alive. After a long night, Michael and Jeremy arrive at the scene and attempt to take them home, but Freddy kills Aaron amidst the chaos. After a long duel between Tracy and Nightmare, it begrudgingly spares her.
    • Freddy and Michael have one last standoff, before both of them, as well as Jeremy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy go up in flames, in a fire caused by Henry Emily, who is also burnt alive.
