Hard Songs

  • Panda is the most infamous Hard song because of the fast and off-beat rapping making it really hard to hit every note perfectly and in time. Many people have stated it's essentially an extreme song but ranked as being hard.
  • What's Golden is considered one of the hardest songs to diamond perfect for similar reasons to Panda, with similar fast and off-beat rapping.
  • Everybody Falls because of the Fake Difficulty with the charting, especially in the earlier stages with it not being fully charted to match what is heard, making it really hard to time properly.
  • All My Life is already pretty difficult throughout for a Hard song, but what makes it land here is due to the final stage, which is ridiculously hectic and fast, with tons of double notes and swipe notes placed super close together.
  • We Won't Cooperate is considered the hardest of all the hard charts due to the fast drum rolls and guitar riffs that are charted super close and fast to each other.
  • Thrash Metal Cassette because of the sheer speed and dexterity needed to hit all the notes in time, especially in the 4th stage and the latter parts of the final stage.

Extreme Songs

  • The Trooper. It is widely considered among the hardest songs in the game, with the dexterity and speed required to hit everything, especially in the solo during stages 4 and 5.
  • Godzilla is already really hard throughout, but then there's the final stage... No words can describe how difficult it is. Beatstar advertised it as "The hardest extreme song so far" and they are 100% justified in saying that.
  • Overdrive is really fast and hectic throughout, with plenty of quick tapping required throughout and lots of swipes.
  • We Live Forever is hard for similar reasons, with seemingly even more random swipe notes littered throughout.
  • Gimme Chocolate!! is considered one of the hardest extreme songs like The Trooper and Godzilla, and it's easy to see why. From the fast tapping required for the vocals, to the guitar solo, to all the swipe notes placed everywhere, it's considered a massive achievement to get just platinum on this song, let alone a diamond perfect.
  • Duality Deluxe is often considered one of the hardest songs in the game, along with Godzilla. Using the same pattern Godzilla did in its final stage, but with arrow notes. Plus, deluxe songs contain diagonal arrow notes, and held notes. The speed of the song, along with the tricky patterns make even experienced players struggle to get a diamond perfect.
  • Hallowed Be Thy Name Deluxe is considered even harder that Duality Deluxe. The song starts off rather easily, but during the guitar solo, it becomes nearly impossible for players who only use their thumbs.
