- The ending of Yoglabs Clone Labs, all the way. The episode previous ended on a cliffhanger, so everyone knew something was going down, but nobody expected this. It's shown that Yoglabs controls all the respawning in Minecraft by having one master clone that they just copy from and send out a new clone, but Simon's master clone is killed. In order to keep his ability to respawn, he has to replace it—but in doing so he'll lose his memory. At the end, he and Lewis have a surprisingly heartbreaking farewell before Simon is frozen, and Lewis walks off alone.
- Becomes even more tragic, with a healthy dose of undiluted Nightmare Fuel, in future episodes, which make it clear that Lewis has clearly gone crazy with grief over losing his best friend, causing him to go from an Affably Evil Card-Carrying Villain to a borderline Omnicidal Maniac who regularly abuses the Simon clones, treating them as expendable resources, and whose experiments are often much more horrific than prior episodes. This culminates in the episode "Block Gun Mod", which sees Lewis cross the Moral Event Horizon by ordering a Simon clone to fire on a village of unarmed Testificates with what basically amounts to a rocket launcher, which even the normally TNT-happy Simon is horrified by.
