- Jenny's accidental death by trying to eat one of Colm's fingers, which is what triggers Pádraic to burn his house down in retaliation.
- After discovering all of the fingers of Colm's left hand, Siobhan immediately proceeds on her decision to leave Inisherin, leaving Pádraic behind, who can't bring himself to leave the island and declines Siobhan's offer of moving in with her to mainland Ireland.
