* The ending has the rangers saying goodbye to Princess Shayla as she takes their morphers, their jackets and the Wild Zords onto the Animarium and leave for the sky again. It is even worse for Merrick who basically begged to Shayla to let him come with her as it is hinted that there is something more between them then just protector and protected but Shayla had to sadly tell him that he can't come with her. Then, the rangers go their separate ways. TheFellowshipHasEnded, indeed.

* Every time Zen Aku takes a Wild Zord their chosen Ranger is devastated, A reminder that the Zords this season aren't machines they're living beings. Best example is when Taylor, the normally confident, unflinching second in command and longest serving member of the team, looses both Bear Brothers.

** In one episode Zen Aku encounters a wolf dog pup that Merrick met who is quite at ease being round him, even tending to it after it gets hurt during a battle which he ran away from because of this. However he realizes as long as it's around him it's in danger so he later scares it off but clearly he doesn't like it.
* Before Merrick can tell the Rangers how to break his curse, the shadow Animus cast over the moon begins to leave and he starts to transform back. He runs out of the cave screaming in pain, the scene cuts to Shayla distraught at his suffering.

Although given their [[FakeShemp morphed]] return in the finale of [[Series/PowerRangersMegaforce Super Megaforce]], that doesn't appear to be the case.
** Although a proper reunion with the cast now seems impossible with the incident regarding Rick Medina.
