WARNING: ALL SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED

     Season 1
Death by Misadventure
  • Jake gets bullied at school and his father beats him and threatens to kill him for being gay.

Just Let Go

  • The devastated reactions of Oliver's parents when told that their son is dead even if he was an Asshole Victim.

Cape Queer

  • Poor Junior is tossed through the wringer in this episode: he finally learns about his mother's terminal illness, only to then be the first one to discover her corpse, in a manner that leads everyone who is unaware of Chucky's existence to believe that she had committed suicide. After the loss of both his nanny and his mother, Junior all but tells Jake that his life was better off before he came as he's The Jinx of a Black Sheep. He also breaks up with Lexy for her Guilt by Association by being on Jake's side, saddening her as well.
  • Just when Devon's mother decides to believe her son about Jake and accepts their relationship, she gets unceremoniously murdered by Chucky.

Twice the Grieving, Double the Loss

  • At Bree’s funeral, Junior gives a scathing "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Jake, and then punches him.
Junior: Jake! You happy now? (shoves him) You happy? You ruin everything! Everyone around you dies! My mom, Devon’s mom, even your own parents! You’re a fucking curse!
  • And then Chucky and Tiffany further string Junior along by making him think that his father was cheating on his mother before she died culminating with Junior murdering his father in a blind rage.

An Affair to Dismember

     Season 2
Halloween II
  • Lexy has spiraled since the events of Season 1. Her father and ex-boyfriend are dead, with Chucky's massacre at the theatre being pinned on the latter. Her family has been severely fractured from the trauma; her sister Caroline developing a fear of dolls, and her mother desperately trying to keep a strong public image for the sake of her career. It's reached the point that she's secretly turned to drugs (much worse than weed) as a coping mechanism, something she won't even tell Jake and Devon, the two people she knows she can trust, about.
  • One of the Chuckys' suicide bombing attempt against the kids does result in one casualty; Jake's little foster brother, Gary. Afterwards, Jake reveals that he was the only one who truly loved Gary, as their foster parents could not have cared less about him.

The Sinners Are Much More Fun

  • After he and Devon are set up in their dorm room at Incarnate Lord, Jake breaks down crying, blaming himself for the death of not only Gary, but all the deaths in the previous season. And even though Devon is quick to comfort him, his guilt only worsens after the Chucky sent to the school causes one of the nuns to suffer a fatal heart attack.
Jake: This is all my fault. If I never bought the fucker at the yard sale in the first place, none of this would have happened! My dad, (to Lexy) your dad, (to Devon) your mom… Gary…

Hail, Mary!

  • Lexy has a breakdown of her own after "Good" Chucky innocently asks her about Junior. She later confides in Nadine about how she's always had to hide her feelings and look perfect not just for her social status, but for her mom's career as mayor, and the pressure of it all has finally crashed down on her all at once.
Lexy: Everything is up to here, and I'm trying my best to stay afloat, but it's impossible…

Death On Denial

  • Glenda confides to their mother that they've been having nightmares about the horrific crimes they committed as a doll.
    • Not only do the twins dream about their past, but neither of them has felt whole since they were separated into different bodies — and they just want to know why. Instead of coming clean, Tiffany handwaves their memories as the product of an "active imagination".
    • Later, Nica tells Glen that she experiences phantom limb pain from her amputated arms; she says "it's like [her] brain knows something has been lost, and [her] body hasn't caught up yet." Glen sadly replies, "Yeah. I know the feeling".
  • Meg Tilly was estranged from Jennifer for several years before she filmed the "Chucky" movie and then cut all contact with her. Meg asks what she did that lead to her sister avoiding her for so long, unaware that Jennifer's spent the last two decades trapped in Tiffany's doll body, being held prisoner while Tiffany stole her life.

Doll on Doll

  • It turns out that the real Jennifer Tilly has been held prisoner inside Tiffany's old doll body this entire time since 2004. Tiffany's been keeping Jennifer trapped in a cage, making her answer fan mail, play online poker and provide Bonnie Swanson's voice on Family Guy so Tiffany can keep up the visage of being the real Jennifer Tilly. She then has to watch Tiffany murder her own sister in front of her when she sees Meg for the first time in decades.

He is Risen, Indeed

  • Andy breaking down crying over Kyle. This is a man who refuses to show vulnerability to anyone. And a character who hasn't cried in the franchise since he was 6, 34 years ago. And he is so distraught about his sister's death he breaks down sobbing in front of two teenagers he barely knows.
  • The death of Nadine. Even worse, it was "Good" Chucky who did it.
    • The worst part is that Lexy saw the whole thing. First she lost her boyfriend, now she's lost one of the best friends she ever had.

Goin' to the Chapel

  • Lexy feels guilty over the death of Nadine, and almost overdoses because of it.
  • During his pre-exorcism confession, Father Bryce implies that he's gay, which he's always felt conflicts with his devout Catholicism. His usual Holier Than Thou attitude is merely an extension of how he's trying to compensate for what he sees as being wrong with himself.
  • Jennifer Tilly getting run over by a truck after she tries to escape from Tiffany, who can only watch in horror.
  • Glen Taking the Bullet for Tiffany, much to Nica's horror.

Chucky Actually

  • Poor Lexy was put through the wringer this season. And just when things seem to be finally looking up for her, her mother is brutally killed by Chucky, and her sister Caroline was manipulated into believing Tiffany was her real mother, leaving willingly with her.
  • Thanks to the twins sharing a soul, when Glen dies from their bullet wound, Glenda dies with them. The nurse enters the room to find the security guard burnt to a crisp on the floor, and the twins dead in Glen's hospital bed. While it's mitigated by the twins transferring their soul(s) back into their original doll body (and once more becoming whole), the sight of the two of them laying together, pale and lifeless, with Glenda clutching their sibling, is sobering and heartbreaking.
  • The previous episode presented a possible send off for Andy and Kyle from the Child's Play franchise, with the two of them seeming to finally be free from Chucky. However, if the two of them truly are gone from the franchise for good, this would indicate that Jake, Devon and Lexy are the new Chucky hunters. All three, like Andy and Kyle and Nica, have had their lives completely destroyed by Chucky, none of them have any close family to turn to, and they now only have each other. The only thing they can do now is try to stop Chucky at every turn to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else.

     Season 3
Murder at 1600
  • Lexy's sheer desperation to find Caroline, after months of no leads.
  • Secret Service agent Teddy Brooks, young Henry's bodyguard and only real friend, is killed by Chucky. Worse, it's staged to look like a suicide.
    • And it's not just Henry who's affected by this, as his mother Charlotte expresses deep concern for Teddy's family, showing that he was viewed by the First Family as more than just an employee.

Let the Right One In

  • Sam, the President's secretary, is murdered by Chucky. This is par for the course, but then poor Charlotte gets sucked into a conspiracy by the new security chief, Pryce, to cover up the murder, including having to lie to her husband about Sam's whereabouts. When she demands to know why Pryce is doing this, he reveals that he's actively working against President Collins' agenda of transparency, because the real powers in Washington don't want their secrets to get revealed.
  • Chucky murders Ms. Fairchild, and then steals her phone to call up Jake, Decon, and Lexy to gloat about it. As you can imagine, they're all devastated to learn that they've lost the one remaining adult who cared about them.
    • Worse, as Chucky is suffocating Ms. Fairchild, he makes it clear he randomly targeted her for no other reason than to make the kids suffer the loss of a parental figure yet again.

Death Becomes Her

  • President Collins' breakdown as he starts to see Joseph's ghost, and Charlotte's reaction to what she sees as her husband's Sanity Slippage.
