Tear Jerker / Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

• "Attack on Cloudbase" is a very solemn episode, with almost every major character being killed off (even Captain Scarlet). A particular standout is towards the end, when Captain Blue and Colonel White are the sole survivors on the bridge. Captain Blue is too injured to escape, and Colonel White vows to go down with his command. The last shot is of Cloudbase falling slowly out of the sky, with Colonel White standing and saluting in a still image that rotates faster and faster and disappears. Fortunately, it is All Just a Dream.

  Blue: Colonel, I—
  White: No need for that, Captain. Er... Adam, isn't it?
• Lieutenant Green's reaction to Rhapsody's death is especially heartbreaking. Trying to contact Rhapsody, sounding like he's about to cry.
• The backstories of some of the characters are rather tragic. For example, Captain Black lost his parents in a nuclear war and ended up being raised by relatives who, in spite of providing him with a decent home, were emotionally neglectful towards him.
