Tear Jerker / Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy

• All of the scenes in Ryza's atelier in the latter half of the game when the various party members come by to visit Fi as he's running out of mana while Ryza is working herself to the bone trying to save him. Anyone who has had to watch a beloved pet or companion slowly succumb to illness or old age knows exactly what the characters are going through.
• Lent's character events are centered around his isolation and seeking validation from others due to his journey and training to become a warrior while expanding his goals after the first game's events. But, as time went by, people he rescued started to blame him for not arriving sooner rather than praise him, leading him to get angry with them and causing them to become afraid of him. Upon realizing that he was acting just like his father, he fell into the depressed state that he's in when reuniting with Ryza and the party at the cafe.
• Right after defeating the Legendary Monarch, Empel tells Ryza that she must make a choice before the Gate finishes closing: Keep Fi with her and run the risk of him dying of mana deprivation or send him back to the Underworld and lose all of the power and skills he supplied her with. Ryza states she had already made her decision and tells Fi to enter the Gate before it closes. He does so, but not before looking back at the party (especially Ryza) one last time and uttering his first and only words ("Bye-bye, Mama...") just before entering the gate. Poor Ryza finally breaks down crying after seeing her friend go.
