- "Double-O-Dale", the spinoff show pitch that broke up the Rescue Rangers is based off of James Bond, also known as "Double-O-Seven", and also doubles as a Call-Back to the Rescue Rangers episode, "Double O Chipmunk".
- Bjornson the Cheese Seller Muppet is an obvious Expy of The Swedish Chef.
- A movie called Batman vs. E.T. is shown, where Batman seemingly comes close to killing E.T., clearly a reference to the ending of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The batsuit shown is similar to Batman's in that film, while the colour palette and cinematography of the shots evoke the film as well.note
- Whilst not explicit, Jimmy The Polar Bear seems to be one of the Coca-Cola Polar Bears.
- When Sweet Pete tells his backstory to Chip and Dale, he says at one point "Bangarang."
- The wall of toon parts features all manner of familiar objects and characters' defining features, including a Smurf's hat, Rocky's aviator hat, Pikachu's tail, Shenron, Sora's hair and his Keyblade, Jimmy Neutron's hair, the Pink Panther's mouth, and Ickis's mouth.
- Detective Putty is a claymation creature clearly inspired by Gumby.
- The banner falling in front of Sweet Pete's monstrous form is written in the font of the "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" banner from Jurassic Park. He even lets out Rexy's roar as it falls.
- Detective Putty flattening himself, flowing under the door and re-emerging, complete with the musical sting, along with his incapacitation via freezing and shattering is a nod to the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Ellie even does a one-liner that serves as a call-back to earlier in the film before beating him like how John Connor suggested to the T-800 to say "Hasta la Vista, Baby", only Ellie says what Putty told her to not "be so fragile".
- He also turns his hand into an anvil during the same scene.
- Looney Tunes- and Ice Age-branded food can be seen in Chip's fridge and Sweet Pete melts down Shrek body wash bottles to be remade into port-a-potties. The Looney Tunes-branded frozen meal in fact was an actual real life product sold in the 1990s.
- While they don't physically appear in the film, Rick and Morty are referenced twice; a guy dressed as Pickle Rick can be seen at FanCon and, when scanned by the Bootlegging machine, Chip and Dale are briefly rendered as the titular duo.
- The 'No Expectations' street art Miles Morales made in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse can be seen as Chip and Dale make their way to Main Street.
- Apparently in this universe Meryl Streep is starring in a Gender Flipped version of Mrs. Doubtfire.
- There is also a LEGO adaptation of Les Misérables.
- The angry, talking cannonballs fired from Sweet Pete's arm cannon resemble Bullet Bills.
- The end credits feature a poster of many Disney characters about to duke it out in a game titled "Disney Afternoon Fight Fest". The poster and concept are very reminiscent of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and games that followed in its wake such as Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and MultiVersus.
- During one scene, Chip can be seen walking down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Some characters that have their own stars are Samurai Jack, Yogi Bear, Squidward, and Chun-Li.
- The fictional episode shown being filmed at the beginning involves Dale getting hit on the head and seeing Circling Birdies, much like the cartoon being filmed at the beginning of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
- One of Sweet Pete's tools in his bag of torture implements is a bottle of Dip.
- At the end, Sweet Pete is shown in a straightjacket and face mask tied to a pushcart.
