- The scene where Chip and Dale split up is very heartbreaking, particularly since both of them have understandable reasons for their actions:
- Throughout the prologue, it is heavily implied Dale doesn't feel wanted or appreciated and feels he brings nothing to the table other than being the "funny, dumb guy". He later reveals he didn't even want to star in the failed Spin-Off Double-O Dale, and all he wanted was to hear Chip say he needed him. When Chip didn't say so, he went ahead and signed on for the show, feeling unwanted.
- Meanwhile, Chip is completely blindsided by Dale's reveal of the spin-off and that he's been working on it in secret since the two of them have always been honest with each other. The fact that Dale has jeopardized Rescue Rangers behind his back comes across as a personal betrayal.
- When Chip and Dale discover Monty's moustache among the parts of the bootlegged toons.Chip: Oh no! Monty's moustache!Dale: [gasps] No!Chip: [voice breaking] He's been bootlegged!
- Chip reveals that before he met Dale, he never had any real friends. Aside from his mom, Chip was all alone for most of if not all of his life.
- Sweet Pete's backstory: following the successful premiere of the 1953 Disney film Peter Pan (in which he played the title role), he found himself growing older as the years went by, and that the Disney company fired him, leaving him all alone and homeless. During the flashback, a depressed Sweet Pete is walking on the streets without anyone to rely on. Even Chip himself sympathizes with this by admitting that working in the film industry can be very complexed for those who are involved.
- It was also the main cause of why Sweet Pete decides to get back at the Disney company (as well as the entire film industry) by producing bootleg versions of their best movies, although he takes it too far by forcing numerous innocent toons into debt and modifying their appearances against their will to evade copyright law.
