- Mepps (the cat) and Wart (the lizard), two members of Fat Cat's gang from the original show, are seen in the background as Chip and Dale walk down Main Street.
- Fitting for a Disney film relying on the Roger Rabbit Effect, Roger himself makes an appearance at the Rescue Rangers' 3rd season wrap party.
- During the aforementioned party, MC Skat Cat from Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" music video is seen as the party's DJ (alongside Paula herself). Disney's interpretations of The Three Little Pigs are also in attendance.
- Lumiere and Tigra are working the convention scene with Dale.
- As is Ugly Sonic, the original, lambasted design of the blue blur.
- Also in attendance at Fan Con are The Mane Six, He-Man and Skeletor, live-action Baloo, Doc McStuffins, and one of the Lost Boys.
- Paul Rudd is there as himself, saying that Ant-Man was originally "Aunt-Man".
- We get not one, not two, but THREE Seth Rogen-voiced characters at Fan Con: Pumbaa, Mantis, and B.O.B..
- Flounder is the first toon we see kidnapped and bootlegged. Turbo, Elmer Fudd, Sneezy, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Gus, a combination of Felix the Cat and The Pink Panther, Incrediboy with what looks like Sideshow Bob's hair, a muscular Garfield, Tweety with Bullwinkle's antlers and hooves, and Sailor Moon appear on posters showing their bootlegged redesigns.
- Bootlegged versions of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger and Homer and Bart appear on the bootleg film sets.
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is seen on a poster when Chip and Dale drive through a Los Angeles street to Main Street.
- Linda Flynn-Fletcher (in a different outfit than she usually wears) is seen on Main Street. Her criminal business is unknown.
- Robert Crumb's Mr. Natural is one of the toons operating on Main Street's black market, with Dale mentioning having sold hair to him for wigmaking.
- Pete is playing the lead in a bootlegged Aladdin.
- The Little House lives on Chip's street.
- The live-action versions of Alvin and the Chipmunks appear on TV, albeit through Stock Footage from that film.
- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial faces the Ben Affleck version of Batman in a new film.
- Dale has a Luxo Jr. lamp in his crime lab.
- Butt-head is seen on a campaign billboard running for senator.
- Detective Florez, Winchell and Duncan, and Scruff McGruff are members of the LAPD.
- Apparently, Chip 'n' Dale went to High School with Blaster, as he's in attendance for their juggling act.
- Although a bit blurry to see, Dobby can be seen on an ad for Gucci when Chip walks down the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
- Doug and Porkchop can be seen on a billboard as Chip and Dale drive down the street, evidently having become lawyers. An obscured Johnny Bravo can be seen on another billboard in the background of the same scene.
- Some of the bootlegged characters who can be seen being freed at the docks include Patrick Star (with the head and face of Wembley Fraggle), Woody Woodpecker (with Casper the Friendly Ghost's body), Samurai Jack (turned into an anthropomorphic cat that bears a striking resemblance to John Blacksad), Mighty Mouse (with the face of Mortimer Mouse), Road Runner (only his feet are visible), Cow, Gumball, Marceline, Obelix (as a dragon), the Pink Panther mixed with Felix the Cat, a Snork (wearing Lucky Luke's outfit), Naruto Uzumaki, Bubbles, and Johnny Test.
- Zummi Gummi appears in person on a park bench during the credits.
- In The Stinger, Darkwing Duck appears complaining about the Rescue Rangers getting more attention than he is. Ironically he is currently getting a reboot with one of the film's actors, Seth Rogen, as an executive producer.
- Glitch from The Boom Studios comic can be seen drawn in an anime style on a painting on Monty's apartment.
- Randy Marsh is seen in a sauna of a gym Chip and Dale are infiltrating. Seconds later the 80s Scrooge McDuck is seen bathing in a cauldron of gold coins.
