When Nature Calls is an American documentary comedy series produced by The BBC and broadcast on ABC. The show is an adaptation of the BBC series Walk on the Wild Side.
In every episode of the series documentary footage is shown of animals in the wild with Helen Mirren providing narration and other actors giving humorous voiceovers to the animals on screen.
The show also has elements of sketch comedy with every episode featuring different segments that parody TV shows and movies.
