- YMMV.Greenmantle: Stumm. Examples of it include Stumm's man-on-man fight in his rather frilly drawing room and intruding upon Hannay while he's getting dressed. (It's even worse when you read it.)
- YMMV.Hitman 2016: Between Silvio Caruso and Francesca De Santis in World of Tomorrow. Despite both scientists plotting to kill each other, De Santis prowling Caruso's belongings, addressing him on a First-Name Basis, taking his betrayal personally and complimenting his outfit when they meet makes it seem that she has taken a liking to him.
- Platonic Writing, Romantic Reading: Perhaps they accidentally made the protagonist and antagonist a bit too chummy, put too much Belligerent Sexual Tension into Sibling Rivalry, had too much connection within the Incompatible Orientation end of the Love Triangle, or even slipped off the tightrope of Heterosexual Life-Partners.
- YMMV.My Little Pony Equestria Girls Forgotten Friendship: Wallflower Blush seemed to want Sunset's attention more than anything else. The Luminescent Blush when Sunset is nice to her at the end only adds fuel to the fire. Also, the way she lashes out at Sunset for forgetting her could be seen as the actions of a Woman Scorned.
- YMMV.My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic S 8 E 20 The Washouts: Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust, the "rivals for life". When the two see each other again for the first time in years, they go from glaring angrily at each other, to laughing fondly about their time together at the academy, to Passive Aggressive Combat about their respective flight teams.
- HoYay.Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure: Josuke and Rohan further (exhaustive) detail is provided, so it isn't actually a ZCE
- YMMV.Mortal Kombat 11: Similar to the infamous "D'Vorah kissing Mileena" scene from the previous installment, there's a scene that's equally horrific as it is homoerotic where Skarlet tortures Jade. She's gets Jade on her knees, crotch-level, and is firmly clutching her head, making her scream, pant, and moan as she whispers suggestive things like "It's time to feast".
- YMMV.Xenoblade Chronicles X: In addition to all the Les Yay she has with Elma and Female!Rook, Irina seems especially annoyed with Murderess, who in turn gets some thrill out of teasing her.
- HoYay.Fanboy And Chum Chum: Kyle and Sigmund In the latter's debut episode, after Sigmund complains about the cutlery not being self-moving, Kyle submissively offers to spoon feed him instead]]. At one point, a panicking Kyle ends up cupping Sigmund's face with his hands. Sigmund's response? Very mild surprise.
- YMMV.Forty Seven Ronin: The scenes between Mika and the witch play out like this, particularly when the witch sneaks into Mika's room at night, slithers all over her in a seductive manner, then suggests she commit suicide. This feels unintentional.
- YMMV.Les Miserables:
- Javert's song about his obsession with finding Valjean and bringing him to justice sounds, well, almost exactly like a love song actually.
- Some of Javert's lines in ''Confrontation ("There is no place for you to hide. Wherever you may hide away, I swear...") can come of as somewhat Stalker with a Crush-y, and the song ends with both Valjean and Javert singing "I swear to you - I will be there!". Valjean's line is actually directed at Fantine, since he is promising to save her daughter, but a lot of actors have him stare at Javert anyway.
- And don't forget right before that, Javert's entering line is "Valjean, at last, we see each other plain..."
- YMMV.Magi The Labyrinth Of Magic: Judar has mentioned many times that he wants to "own" Sinbad.
- YMMV.Zatoichi: Between Ichi and Hirate in the first film. They see each other as Worthy Opponents and there is a scene where Ichi gives Hirate a massage. One of the more positive foe-yay relationships.
- YMMV.Stargate SG 1 S 1 E 13 Hathor: Hathor and just about everybody; in addition to making Daniel her "beloved", the scene where she turns O'Neill into a Jaffa is incredibly suggestive, and she compliments Carter on her looks at their first meeting.
- YMMV.Buffy The Vampire Slayer S 2 E 21 Becoming Part 1: The final between Drusilla and Kendra has been described as "almost sexualized" and "a G-rated lesbian interlude". This foreshadows the Les Yay between Drusilla and Darla in Angel.
