Main Characters
Uzi
Uzi Doorman
Voiced by: Elsie Lovelock
- Action Girl: In heavy contrast to the rest of the Worker Drones, who are largely too cowardly to fight back against the Murder Drones. She has a small degree of skill in martial arts from just watching anime, and she's applauded for managing to take out J by herself.
- All of the Other Reindeer: With the exception of Thad, everybody in her school looks down on her for being an anger-prone, gun-loving maniac. This gets parodied in "Cabin Fever", which makes a Running Gag of her classmates alternating between shrinking in horror at the very sight of her (more than they do with the Murder Drones, no less) to completely forgetting who she is, even after multiple interactions.
- And I Must Scream: She's fully aware of her murderous behavior in her Absolute Solver form during "Cabin Fever", but she's unable to control herself and is terrified of what she's doing.
- And Then John Was a Zombie: She's introduced simply wanting to kill the Disassembly Drones, but starting with the end of "Pilot", the Absolute Solver gradually puts Uzi through the same kind of mutations that the Disassembly Drones went through before becoming what they are. By "Cabin Fever", Uzi has gained not only their thirst for oil and weakness to sunlight, but also organic, leathery wings and a claw-like tail similar to the wings and stingers the Disassembly Drones have.
- Angst: She pins being an angsty teen as her main character trait, complaining about the Worker Drones' situation very often and arguing with her emotionally distant father while desperately craving his approval.
- Empowered Badass Normal: She starts out as a Badass Normal Worker Drone who barely manages to hold her own against the nearly invincible Disassembly Drones thanks to her quick thinking and awesome railgun. Once her Solver powers start to manifest, she gains Reality Warper abilities and a Superpowered Evil Side that make her a far greater threat than the Disassembly Drones themselves.
- Humans Are the Real Monsters: Uzi justifies her Kill All Humans plan with this mindset, since JCJenson seemingly left N, V, and J stranded on Copper-9 with the express purpose of Worker Drone genocide without bothering to explain the reason to either side. V calls her out on this, suggesting that the Worker Drones may have brought their genocide upon themselves before Uzi's birth, and therefore aren't as innocent as she thinks.
- My God, What Have I Done?: "The Promening" opens with her reeling with guilt over sending N away out of newfound fear of the Murder Drones in "Heartbeat". She's quick to make amends with him when they reunite.
- What the Hell Are You?: Has this reaction to N and the Disassembly Drones in general after their first encounter with the Absolute Solver in "Heartbeat" flips everything she thought she knew about them on its head.Uzi: (scared out of her wits) What...are you things...?
- Wrong Genre Savvy: At first, she thinks she's in an ordinary sci-fi action story where she's an edgy Anti-Hero-turned-Villain Protagonist out to Kill All Humans on Earth. To her ever increasing horror, she discovers she's actually in a Cosmic Horror Story where she's up against a Mechanical Abomination that's mutating her into an actual monster and already destroyed Earth.
