    Adam Jensen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adam12.jpg

Story: Deus Ex series

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Adam's story can be summed up with the fact that he was severely injured in a attack on the Biotech plant he worked for, his employer had a clause in his contract that allowed him to heavily augment him and turn him into a walking arsenal. Not too long ago he got a upgrade for his work in Task Force 29 and now is even more heavily augmented.

  • The Bus Came Back: After disappearing for a good part of Day 1 and being completely absent on Day 2, Adam reappears at the beginning of Day 3 handwaving his absence as him studying the layout of the city.

    Agarth

Story: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Agarth the Unyielding was once a fabled hero of amalur and his exploits includes "wrestled the Kollossae priestess" and many considered him one the greatest heroes of the age including the fae and a few others. After joining the fateweavers he saw a vision of his death and, depressed by such a terrible sight, he trunted to excessive drinking and such until the a survivor of an tuatha Deohn attack on Allestar Tower, the fateless one (the player) shows up (and the rest i could type would include major spoilers and take so long to type i'm just going to skip to the end) after the heroic victory over gadflow (tuatha Deohn and his god Tirnoch) thanks to the faithless, Agarth has now regained his old attitude and status.

Alad V and Zanuka (Bit Characters)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad_v_and_zanuka.jpg

Story: Warframe

Arrived to the city on: Day 2

Once a member of the Corpus Board of Directors, Alad V was ostracised after he lost an important conflict with the Grineer. Continuing his deranged Zanuka Project on his own, he was stopped by the Tenno; instead, he focused on engineering the Technocyte Virus so it would be able to infect none-organic material. He was on the cusp of unleashing the Mutalist Infestation on the Origin System when he was whisked away.

Zanuka is the product of Alad's Zanuka Project — a Proxy with Warframe components and abilities that is totally loyal to its maker.

    Alice Margatroid

Story: Touhou Project

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Alice was once a human that lived in the demon land of Makai, eventually getting access to a powerful grimory with magic so powerful that it couldn't be used without reading it. She eventually left Makai in order to live in Gensokyo, her exposure to magic eventually turned her into an ageless witch.

    Angua von Überwald

Story: Discworld

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Angua is a member of a family of werewolf nobles from Uberwald. She and her brother Wolfgang are the only children in the family (out of four) who can actually shapeshift; her sister Elsa and brother Andrei were stuck in human and wolf form, respectively. Wolfgang is extremely violent and enjoys killing (and sometimes eating) humans, who he considers inferior. Angua rebelled against the traditional werewolf lifestyle of her parents (i.e., do whatever you want and kill whoever you want because nobody can do anything about it without getting killed themselves), and left for Ankh-Morpork to find her fortune (or at least a decent job).

    Asgore Dreemurr

Story: Undertale

Arrived to the city on: Day 3

Asgore is kind to a fault to the point of being a total pushover when he's not actually fighting (which he doesn't do very often either due to being a pacifist at heart, but he will fight if he has no other choice) even though he's one of the most powerful monsters in existance. He's very soft-spoken in spite of having quite a deep voice, treats everyone with respect and hospitality and generally acts in a rather carefree way when things aren't serious, though he can be a bit awkward at times and he can struggle to contain his emotions. He's also terrible at naming things.

    Ashe
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ashe.jpg

Story: Mega Man ZX Advent

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Orphaned when her hometown was attacked by Mavericks with no knowledge of who she was or who her parents were, she was rescued and raised by the Hunters (a group of lawful bounty/treasure hunters/mercenaries). Inspired by them, she became one herself. Her skill was enough that she was assigned to hunt down an illegally transported Biometal. After that, in another mission where they had to transport it on a train to the client, she merged with said Biometal, A, but the train was destroyed. It took some time repairing it, as each time she looked for parts, she was met with enemies, and on her way to her client, the Sage Trinity, finds out one of them, Master Albert, was the mastermind behind the attacks. With that discovery, Albert escapes and what's left of the Trinity assigns her to stop him.

    Ben Tennyson

Story: Ben 10 (Season Two)

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Ben grew up in the small town of Bellwood alongside his cousin Gwen. One summer, he, Gwen, and his grandfather Max went on a road trip for the summer. While camping in the woods, Ben encountered a strange alien device that clamped to his wrist. He quickly found out that this device allowed him to transform into alien forms. Now, he uses this device, the Omnitrix, to fight evil.

    Chaika Trabant (Bit Character)

Story: Coffin Princess Chaika

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

In her world, she is the former princess of the fallen Gaz Empire, ruled over by her father, Arthur "The Mad King" Gaz, who was slain at the tail end of a three-century-long war between his Empire and an Alliance of Six Nations.
Just before her spiriting away into the City of Lost Characters, she had been wandering the land for several months, searching for the parts of her dead father's body, which had been cut into pieces and kept as trophies after being defeated by a group of Eight Heroes in what would, in a stereotypical fantasy RPG, be a final boss battle, in order to give him a proper burial.

    Danny Fenton

Story: Danny Phantom

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

After an accident in his ghost-obsessed parents' lab, he ended up spliced with ectoplasm. Said accident also gave the kid ghost powers. Who knew. Ever since then he's been using his powers to protect the town he lives in, fighting off ghosts that leak out from another dimension, while still trying to live a normal(ish) life. After dealing with a handful of ghosts, another half human half ghost, various ghost hunters, a hypnotist who almost rewrote all of reality, and even his own alternate evil future self, he now finds himself... here. Wherever here is.

    Darth Marr
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darth_marr.png

Story: Star Wars: The Old Republic (Knights of the Fallen Empire)

Arrived to the city on: Day 3

Throughout his tenure on the Dark Council, Darth Marr's body slowly transformed as a result of immersion in the dark side of the Force, and by the time war broke out again with the Republic the Sith Lord was aware that his body would not last much longer, And so tried to make a lasting impact on the Sith Empire's structure.

    Gentaro Kisaragi

Story: Kamen Rider Fourze

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Left the city on: Day 3

Gentaro was raised by his parents until the third grade when they died in a car accident. He never really understood what their jobs were, and neither did his grandfather when he later went to live with him, but they were always proud whenever he made a new friend. They taught him that seeing a friend smile is the best feeling, a point that stuck with him all his life, and to keep his friends close as they'll eventually help him out in the long run.

  • Big Damn Heroes: During the boss fight with Queen Bee, Gentaro flies in out of nowhere after a quite long absence, taking down the boss in one blow.

    Gon

Story: No Tears for the Dead

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Gon has operated for a number of years in Los Angeles as an assassin for a Triad gang after he was abandoned by his Korean-born mother in a suicide before he was placed in the foster care system. It was until an operation to assassinate a South Korean national that he realized a young child was caught in the crossfire. Because of this, he wishes to retire from the field. But not before he was ordered to assassinate her mother, who has discovered the gang's laundered money unknowingly. After Gon finds out that the target is the mother of the child killed years ago, he decides to go all out to save her.

  • Energy Weapon: The laser rifle given to him by Lune.
  • Fantastically Indifferent: Despite coming from a rather mundane universe without fantastic elements, isn't too fazed about being suddenly transported into a city full of magic and aliens. Though he does note that a teenage kid transforming into an alien is a bit odd, since "no one in his line of work can do that".

    Grimlock

Story: Transformers: Robots in Disguise

Arrived to the city on: Day 3

Grimlock was once a criminal branded as a Decepticon after causing severe property damage. Whether he was sent to Alchemor, a prison ship housing Cybertron's most dangerous criminals, because of what he did or what he could've done, as he was a Dinobot, remains to be seen. He was in stasis for a long time until the Alchemor crashed on Earth. There, he fought a fellow escaped convict, Underbite, and assisted Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Strongarm in his arrest. After that, he helped the team in capturing other criminals, becoming close friends with Sideswipe and one of the team's human companions, Russel. After arresting several, with Drift and Windblade joining the team, they had to fight Megatronus with a revived and powered up Optimus Prime. With Bumblebee's quick thinking, they were able to defeat Megatronus. When Bumblebee asked his teammates if they wished to continue rounding up Decepticons, as they were on Earth thanks to Optimus needing their help against a great evil (Megatronus), he and his friends swiftly decided to stay, and Optimus as well. So Grimlock was helping in catching 'cons, at least until he found himself in this strange place.

    Ibuki (Bit Character)

Story: Street Fighter

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Ibuki was raised in a ninja village on the remote forests of Japan. She was taken in as an infant by the clan after being abandoned as a baby. She was nearly inducted into the clan but was rescued when the headmaster had a change of heart and began raising her as his own daughter. She received her training for much of her life and attempts to balance all of her training with her life as an average schoolgirl.

    Jack (Bit Character)

A samurai whose true name is unknown, Jack was flung to the future by the demon Aku, and discovered that Aku had long since conquered the Earth, as the samurai's magical sword had been the only weapon capable of defeating Aku. Taking the name 'Jack' from local slang, the samurai began a long journey to find a way back to his own time, to undo the hellish future that Aku had wrought. Along the way he has met many allies and defeated many enemies. Piece by piece, he reclaims the future by seeking the past.

    Josuke Higashikata

Story: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Diamond Is Unbreakable)

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Josuke hails as a highschool student from the town of Morioh. When he was young, Josuke suffered from an immense fever one winter night, which ultimately resulted in the awakening of his Stand. In 1999, the town of Morioh was befallen by a number of bizarre Stand-related incidents, culminating in the tyranny of a serial killer. Throughout it all, Josuke protected his beloved town along with his friends, often making them from the very enemies he fought.

    Kieri "Snowy" Suizahn

Story: Slightly Damned

Arrived to the city on: Day 3

Kieri is a shy and introverted person who believes very little in herself and often tries to downplay her skills as being unimpressive. At least, she's this way most of the time. Threaten someone she cares about or the general safety of those around her, and she'll go berserk, summoning her trusty sword and attempting to cleave you in two when she's not trying to freeze you. Kieri is still a very sweet girl most of the time though, so there's not much need for worry.

    Legion
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/legion10.png

Story: Mass Effect

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Originally 1183 programs placed into an infiltration unit, sent to find and assist Commander Shepard in the war against the Reapers. Served with Shepard during the Suicide Mission. Was rescued by Shepard during the Reaper War. Died disseminating Reaper code upgrades to the geth to grant them true individuality. Legion has ended up here, with the same upgrades it gave away so freely, for reasons it does not comprehend.

  • My God, What Have I Done?: Legion becomes depressed for a while after it accidentally hurts Ben while fighting Brother Marcus.
  • Screw the Rules, It's the Apocalypse!: Legion's justification for breaking open the door of a liquor store and looting it is that the other characters would otherwise freeze to death.

    Lune Zoldark

Story: Super Robot Wars Gaiden (Original Generations)

Arrived to the city on: Day 2

She's resting in Las Gias after the Gaia Saver Wars, a long war against the Gaia Savers (a corrupt faction with the Earth Federation), the Ruina (eldritch abominations), the Guests (a faction within the extraterrestrial Zuvorg Empire), and Baral (ancient faction based on a mixture of Chinese and Hebrew mythology). Her best pals are the pilots of the Elemental Lords, ancient magical robots created a long time ago.

  • Henshin Hero: Because the Valsione was too big for this RP, it became Lune Zoldark's other form.
  • Headless Horseman: Lune gets turned into a Dullahan on Day 4, which fits for the fairy-tale theme for that day. Fortunately, she can place her head on her neck and pretend she's normal, provided that the seam in the neck isn't noticed.
  • Losing Your Head: In a lucky twist, Lune's Day 4 Dullahan form lets her survive decapitations. However, a body moving around without a head may seem creepy, as Ben and Rex learned the hard way.

    Mary

Story: Ib

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Mary was the final masterpiece of famous artist Weiss Guertena, who firmly believed that he could impart his spirit into his own creations, before his eventual death. As a permanent resident of the Fabricated World, Mary's one and only wish was to escape the Haunted Gallery and enjoy life as a normal human girl in the Real World, with lots and lots of friends. In order to fulfill this goal, she almost went as far as to force herself to abandon the only two real people she had ever met inside the Haunted Gallery; the only people she could've possibly called "friends". In the end, however, she could not bring herself to do it, and instead decided that she would stay with them and keep them company from that moment on.

    Plague Knight
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/plague_knight_colc.jpg

Story: Shovel Knight

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Already a notorious mad scientist, Plague Knight was readily accepted into the dreaded Order of No Quarter when the Enchantress made her bid to take over the Valley. Given promise by the Enchantress of unlimited resources for his research, Plague Knight immediately took over and set up shop within an abandoned castle as his own personal lab and dubbed it the Explodatorium. However, his true motive for joining the Order was to create an elixir called the Serum Supernus, an all-powerful potion that can grant whomever drinks it whatever their heart desires. After discovering the Essences needed to brew the potion are held by the Enchantress and the rest of the Order, Plague Knight finally decides to betray them all to finally complete his life's work and gain ultimate power for the purpose of becoming strong enough for Mona to love him. After defeating the unstabilized forms of the Serum itself, Mona confesses that she was already in love with Plague Knight, and he himself realizes he does not need the power of the Serum after all. Thus, he uses the stabilized serum to instead blow up the Enchantress's Tower of Fate, destroying both her base of operations and nexus of power, being hailed as a true Hero equal to Shovel Knight himself. This allows him to openly continue his research and become accepted by the general populace. He and Mona starting actively dating soon after, and after all the initial celebrations it was back to SCIENCE as usual. Though, while SCIENCE never rests, so too does ADVENTURE...

  • For Science!: Plague Knight is quite obsessed with experimentation and with getting samples of all technology and chemicals he comes upon.

    Rex Salazar
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rex_colc.jpg

Story: Generator Rex (Season One)

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

He's an EVO, a human with active nanites. Other people mutate into mindless monsters but Rex can actually control his nanites. He was found as a kid by Providence (an organization in charge of dealing with EVOs) during the rampage of a giant robotic EVO and could only remember his name. After learning that he was capable of curing people, they decided to train him and teach him to control his powers and brought hope to the world being the only real cure since the Nanite Event.

  • Shapeshifter Weapon: Rex's main power is creating mechanical constructs from his body. These include a wheeless motorbike, a pair of giant hands, and wings with turbines.

    Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rick_and_morty13.jpg

Story: Rick and Morty

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Rick is something of a wanted criminal among the alien group known as the Federation; not only has he sold a lot of his personal inventions to mercenaries but he's also fought at least one guerilla war against the group. After disappearing from Earth for fourteen years, Rick abruptly resurfaced and moved in with his daughter and son-in-law. Not long afterwards, he recruited Morty as his personal helper, spiriting him across time and space on unpredictable "adventures".

Morty was living a happy life with his family- attending Harry Herpson high school and crushing on popular girl Jessica- until Rick showed up, dragging Morty on all kinds of crazy adventures. On one particular adventure, Rick and Morty wound up destroying human civilization entirely, forcing the duo to move into another reality where they had recently died to usurp the lives of their dopplelgangers. This was poor Morty's first, harsh introduction to the fact that the multiverse is a chaotic and uncaring place...

  • Gadgeteer Genius: Rick fills this role, being able to turn common electronic items into stun guns, medical tools etc.
  • Realistic Diction Is Unrealistic: Averted: Locoman does a fantastic job of mimicking both Rick and Morty's distinct, stammering speech styles.
Loco!Rick: So we gotta just... we gotta just roll- we gotta just roll with the punches here, Morty. Can you do that, Morty? R-r-roll with the punches? It's the only way we-we're gonna survive out here.

Nonplussed that he has now made himself a target for aspiring assassins, Touchdown only agrees to set out and secure himself as number one in the UAA when Christel teases him with the possibility of sex, so long as he can reach the top. He ultimately reaches the top, fighting and killing Jeane.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/undyne_colc.jpg

Story: Undertale

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Left the city on: Day 3

Long ago there was a war between humans and monsters. The humans won, and banished the monsters underground, sealing them there with a magic spell. The monsters kept on living, still dreaming of the world above, never forgetting the stars. Humans kept their own legend - those that climbed Mount Ebott would never return. One day, a young boy climbed the mountain and fell down a hole. This began a journey of laughs, love, friendship, and determination. He eventually broke the magical seal, with the help of his friends. One of those friends was Undyne, the captain of the Royal Guard, and right hand woman to King Asgore. Originally she sought to kill the child and take his soul so that Asgore could break the seal himself, but he defeated her and befriended her. His friendship and determination made her realize how nice humans could really be. She had just stepped out of the underground with the human and her other friends, when she wound up here.

    Viktor

Story: League of Legends

Arrived to the city on: Day 1

Early in life, Viktor discovered his passion for science and invention, particularly in the field of mechanical automation. He attended Zaun's prestigious College of Techmaturgy and led the team that constructed Blitzcrank - a scientific breakthrough that he expected to vault him to the top of his profession. Unfortunately his triumph was usurped by Professor Stanwick, who stole credit for developing Blitzcrank's sentience and later used Viktor's research to revive Urgot. Viktor's appeals for justice fell on deaf ears, and he sank into a deep depression. He withdrew from the College and barricaded himself in his private laboratory, cutting all human ties. There, in secret, he conceived a project for which nobody else could claim credit. Desiring both to revolutionize his field and to eliminate the jealous human emotions which festered inside him, he engineered parts to replace and improve his own body.

  • For Science!: Downplayed. Viktor desires to research unfamiliar technology to benefit the "Glorious Evolution" (mass cybernetic augmentation of mankind) but he feels disgusted when Ashe thinks he would try to take over the world to do so.
