My sandbox, where I work on making pages for certain works and other shit, and archive some stuff.
Ideas for Next Year's first issue of Trope Report:
- Folders for Obscure Tropes and New Tropes are fine.
But...
- Merge Forumwatch and Project Spotlight into one folder (Name can be decided- Leaning towards recycling Forumwatch)
- Introduce new award folders: Featured Trope of the Month? Image Spotlight? (Obviously, we're keeping Image of the Month)
- Images from Obscure Tropes?: Obscure images from obscure tropes are just as interesting.
- New Work Images?: Interesting new images for work pages.
Tropes and Works
Obscure Tropes
This section highlights older tropes that need a boost.- Trope
New Tropes
This section brings attention to recently-launched tropes that could use a little help to really get rolling.- Trope
New Work Page Spotlight
This section covers newer work pages that could use a little help.- Work
Older/Obscure Work Spotlight
This section is intended to highlight works that may no longer be in the zeitgeist — but that doesn't mean they're any less tropable.- Work
Works That Need a Page
This section takes a page from the List of Shows That Need Summary. It is intended to spotlight works that people have been talking about enough to link around the site, but don't have a page yet. If the work page link turns blue after this, then we know we've done our job!- Work
Non-English Work Spotlight
The wiki may be in English, but that doesn't mean non-English media are any less important! This section focuses on works that may have a language barrier to deal with — but are worth it if you do.- Work
Creator Page Spotlight
Works would be nothing without the people who make them. This section highlights authors, artists, actors, musicians, and everyone else responsible for trope creation and proliferation.- Creator
Images from Obscure Tropes
This section highlights images from some older tropes that might need a boost.[images placed here]
New Images on Work Pages
Sometimes, work pages need wonderful images. This section highlights images that have recently been added to work pages.[images place here]

- McLeaned: Burgers made with patties from cows whose owners left them. These burgers were made in collaboration with McDonald's, but after they stopped working with us, the burger and trademark were killed off.
Ok, it's my turn.
TEAM BATTLE TIME! Whether you like the TV, or like outside, or both at the same time, we are all here to vote for the winners and losers, and fight against the other team! This time, the round theme is Lazy vs. Active.
I think the topic is simple. Suggest one member for Team Lazy, and one member for Team Active. Last entry, and team, standing wins.
Note that both your entries don't have to be from the same work. For example:
Team Lazy:
Team Active:
- [[
However, while you can suggest such characters, I do not want to see characters be upvoted simply because the actors are well-known as deceased (Looking at you LazyTown). It's unfair, plus it can leave a bad taste. What matters completely is the character's personality.
TV Tropes Punishment Spotlight
This section covers some of the biggest policy violations TV Tropes had committed over the past year. As a Medal of Dishonor, some of these violations shall not properly be named, for they are untouchable. Furthermore, as a punishment for sleeping on the job, some of our contributors have been forced to write lines regarding these violations on the large chalkboard that we had recently purchased. 10 lines required for each entry.- We will not host hentai on TV Tropes.

—— - Hanukkah Episode: For our Jewish guests who don't wish to have our Christmas Episode offer. Some servings of potato latkes with cheese, onion, and vegetables, with a serving of challah bread on the side, and a plate of sufganiyot as a dessert. The meal also includes a hanukkiah lit up to the current day of Hanukkah, and for tables with 2 or more guests, a game of dreidel with the dreidel pot and chocolate gelt included.
- Trans Equals Hypersexual: Mr. Walters get a vagina in the second movie to replace the penis that was shot of at the end of the first movie, and they act more promiscuous towards and compared to the other characters than in the first movie, they are eager to show off their vagina to Jenko and Schmidt, especially in the deleted scenes version where they request to repeatedly, and it is implied that they had raped Eric with it.
- Trans Character, Cis Actor: Mr. Walters returns in a cameo during the prison scene, where they announce to Jenko and Schmidt that they had gotten a vagina to replace their penis that was shot off in the prior film. To avoid breaking continuity, they are still played by the cisgender Rob Riggle.
- Unintentional Period Piece: 21 Jump Street contains elements that indicate that the film could've only been made in 2011 and released in 2012. Aside from the film using songs that reflected the late-2000s and early-2010s, Schmidt and some, though not all, of the school students also utilise portable phones with non-touch displays and button-based inputs. These devices would eventually decline in use from late-2012 in favor of smartphones, as seen by Jenko and Schmidt's use of the latter in the sequel, which was filmed in 2013 and released in 2014. In terms of law enforcement, the plot regarding Jenko and Schmidt having to practice and remember the Miranda Rights after they failed to arrest Domingo for smoking marijuana, which Jenko claims is illegal to smoke, and Eric being in trouble from being caught smoking marijuana by Mr. Walters, instantly dates the film to 2012, given that numerous U.S. states have legalized recreational marijuana use, possession, and sales starting late-2012 and 2014 respectively. (Though for Eric, it would still be illegal for him but only because he is underage)
The game is over! Former silver entry Ms. Frizzle has came back from the class field trip and has brought to the school some gold, which is a group 11 element and one of the noble metals. And unfortuantely, Sarah Connor has went home with silver again, but thankfully, she still has a chance in a future round.
Congratulations to both me (for submitting Ms. Frizzle in the Fictional Teachers round, allowing her to come second there and become eligible for the round) and TroperNo9001 (for submitting Ms. Frizzle in this round), but especially TroperNo9001.

Alright, Skan 123, give us the theme for the next round.
