- Beard of Evil: Berserker Gilgamesh has one. One of the first thing he does is to hold the world hostage by threatening to destroy it with Enki.
- Beard of Sorrow: Berserker grew his beard during his hunt for Immortality after Enkidu died.
- Berserk Button: Insulting Santa Maria is (literally) one for the Overseer.
- Cool Versus Awesome: Religious Werewolves vs Vampire Werewolves vs Vampires vs Enkidu vs A Hamon User vs a Dead Apostle Ancestor. And that's just the Master's.
- Earth-Shattering Kaboom: Saber's Ea, with its Anti-World status
- Expy: Quicktrolley.
- Later joined by Jonathon 'Jojo' Harker, who is Joseph Joestar in all but name.
