Cross-Timeline Meetup: An ATL Discussion Re-Launch is a collaborative roleplay ran on AlternateHistory.com, wherein people play various characters from different timelines. Like a previous meetups, due to being in the Shared Worlds section of the website, it is only accessible to members. Some worlds are based on The New Order Last Days Of Europe headcanons.

This series provides examples of:

  • Anarchy Is Chaos: Averted and played straight in Aleksandra Godunova's home world. Despite being anarchist, Mexico City, nominally the capital of Mexico, is the fifth largest financial hub in North America. Anarchist Colombia has also managed to thrive through narcotics trade, and is mentioned to have a financial centre that specializes in cocaine trade. Meanwhile the irradiated parts of Europe has no law and order, and is in a chaotic state.
  • Balkanize Me: Happened to Italy in Aleksandra Godunova's world as a result of the War of Devastation (her world's equivalent of World War Two).
  • Black-and-Grey Morality: The main inter-dimensional conflict is a conflict between the Galactic Empire and the United Soviet Federation.
  • Chummy Commies: Democratic Socialist Soviet Union from Andrey Leonov's world and the Socialist countries from Nikolai Nabokov's world.
  • Commie Nazis: Totalists and Left-Wing National Populists (Shikhmatovschina) from Julia Korin's world. For example, the Sorelians in France are clear example. Another example are Ordoscocialists from Kirill Kulikov and Diana Antonova's worlds.
    • Downplayed with Zhukovite faction of Russian Socialist Party in Kirill's world. They are not radicals like the Ordies. They are just patriots and less militaristic people.
  • Darker and Edgier: Kirill Kulikov's world to Diana Antonova's world. Despite the general similarities, there are still more problems in this world. Including in Britain, where the rebels won the civil war. However, the post-socialist government faced many challenges, including protests from communists and monarchists.
  • Desk Jockey: Nikolay Nabokov's job, despite limited to just talking to people from other universes from distance, is vital for the interdimensional activities of the agency he works in, making effectively a desk jockey.
  • Different World, Different Movies: Some examples from Julia Korin's world:
    • Star Knights (counterpart to Star Wars). Galactic Empire's counterpart in this version resembles the Savinkovist Russia and Sorelian France. Because in this world the fear of the Great War III was strong.
    • The Eternal War (counterpart to Warhammer 40 000).
  • Dimensional Traveler: Aleksandra Godunova travels between dimensions in her contracts. Makes sense, considering that she is employed under a company that operates in multiple dimensions.
  • Dirty Communists:
    • Subverted with Zhdanov's United Soviet Federation. They are "grey" faction in Black-and-Grey conflict.
    • Mikhail Tukhachevsky's WRRF from Diana's world. They massacred all the priests at Gayny.
  • Fantastic Racism: In Darya Serdyukova's world, some countries of the world have discriminatory policies towards paranormal beings. For example, Great Britain and Ireland are pursuing anti-fae segregation policies.
  • Foil: Sam Ludlow to Kirill Kulikov. Both are from the same world and rather cynical people and PSD supporters. Kirill is a citizen of Russia and PSD Civilian faction supporter. Samuel Ludlow is a British Russiaboo and PSD Siloviki faction supporter who advocates for "Pokryshkin did nothing wrong".
  • Four-Star Badass: Pavel Batov, Alexander Pokryshkin, Alexander Novikov, Vasily Margelov and Dmitry Volkogonov from Kirill and Diana's world.
  • Historical Hero Upgrade: Due to it being an Alternate History roleplay, it's not an uncommon here for obscure figures to be turned into heroes. Notable examples of this include Leonov's world, where the musician Eduard Artemyev was turned into the creator of a multitparty Soviet Union, and Nabokov's world, where this is carried to the extreme, due to it being a Mirror Universe, resulting in literal fascists becoming champions of Democratic Socialism.
  • Japan Takes Over the World: In Aleksandra Godunova's world, Japan is known to have taken over Hawaii and Alameda Island, and has the Philippines within its sphere of influence.
  • Karma Houdini: Aleksandra Godunova once anonymously accepted a contract to assassinate a prince from Hyderabad, by his political enemies. The political enemies were eventually exposed - but not her. She managed to get a alibi from a colleague of hers.
  • MegaCorp: The Feniks, Rus and Titan corporations aka The Champions or Kombinats. In a conversation about Pokryshkin's policy as Prime Minister of Russia, Kirill mentions: "What the former collaborators in Samara did not succeed in, the Siberian Falcons were able to do".
  • Mirror Universe: Nikolai Nabokov's world is based around being a mirrorverse of the world of the The New Order, with moralities and political ideologies being reversed among many of the characters.
  • N.G.O. Superpower: West Alaska private military company from Kirill's world. As part of its main activity, it also fights against the OVRI.
  • Our Presidents Are Different: There are many examples.
    • President Geek: US President John Glenn from the Kirill and Diana's worlds.
    • President Iron: Svetlana Stalina and Mikhail Devyataev from Kirill's world. The second one became famous for the fight against organized crime and terrorists after the Reclamation.
  • Rising Empire: In Diana Antonova and Alexandra Sharonova's world, Russia, China, and India are stated to be "superpowers of tomorrow".
  • Soviet Superscience: The United Soviet Federation, which was founded by the efforts of Andrey Zhdanov and Nikolai Kardashev. The USF is an anti-hero version of this trope, since despite unethical and sometimes insane experiments, they seek to save the parallel dimensions from the Galactic Empire.
  • Urban Fantasy: It is mentioned several times in the conversation. However, some elements of urban fantasy are also present in worlds.
  • Western Terrorists: OVRI terrorists. They are Right Wing Militia Fanatic version of this trope.
