The sketch features Cookie Monster (as Cookiness Evereat) exclaiming, "Being strong heroine of entire franchise hard work!" and Peeta as... an actual pita. Plus, Cookie's Big "NO!" at the end of the sketch after Finnicky tells him that there's going to be a third "Hungry Games" movie.

  • A sketch from "Papercut to Aorta" features a parody of the film in which The Smurfs participating in a tournament hosted by Gargamel, in which all of the Smurfs fight to the death for a prize of his smurfberry crops.
• The Simpsons: In "Brick Like Me", Lisa wants Homer to take her to see a in-universe parody, The Survival Games. During the end credits, Homer is displeased and bored with the Love Triangle of Katniss, Gale and Peeta.
