  • Hoodwinked!: Flippers says upon seeing the Wolf, "I remember you! Three years ago on the Stiltskin case: you were snooping around for a lead on his real name." The Wolf matter-of-factly says, "I was close too. I was gonna go with Greg. Greg Stiltskin."
  • Rudolph's Shiny New Year: Rumpelstiltskin is one of the fairy tale characters who is asked about the whereabouts of Happy, the baby New Year. He moans that no child ever wants to stay with him as he spins straw into gold.

Puppet Shows

  • Between the Lions: In "Hay Day", Leona, Lionel, and Gus read the story of Rumpelstiltskin, and help Queen Fay guess the title character's name in a parody of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? to help her keep her baby.
  • Muppet Classic Theater: The fourth segment is a retelling of the story, with Gonzo in the role of the titular character, Kermit in the role of the king, and Piggy in the role of the Miller's Daughter.
  • Sesame Street: In one of Kermit's "News Flash" sketches, Rumpelstiltskin gave the princess three chances to guess his first name or give up her child. After she gave three wrong guesses, he revealed his name to be Bruce.

Western Animation

  • ALF Tales: The episode based on Rumpelstiltskin is a Noir Episode, with ALF as the detective hired to find out his name.
  • Courage the Cowardly Dog: The episode "Rumpledkiltskin" is a parody of the story in which Courage and Muriel are forced by one "Uncle Angus" to weave a thousand quilts, with the only way out being to guess his real name.
  • Garfield and Friends: The U.S. Acres segment "The Name Game" has Orson attempting to tell the story to Booker and Sheldon, with Roy Rooster in the title role. The key word being "attempting".
  • Looney Tunes: In the short Yankee Dood It, the magic word "Jehoshaphat" is used to turn elves into mice, with "Rumpelstiltskin" being the word to change them back.
