Animated Films
  • The LEGO Ninjago Movie: The end credits show Lloyd and Lord Garmadon throwing a bomb back and forth in a similar fashion to Pong.
  • WALL•E tries to wake up a locked-up EVE by playing Pong with her; since she's totally immobile, his score gets up to 8000 before he finally gives up.

Comic Strips

  • Big Nate: There's one strip from the early 2000s where Nate complains that the only game his dad's computer can play is Pong.

Live-Action TV

  • Charlie's Angels:
    • In "Angels on Ice," Kris and Kelly play Pong.
    • In "Counterfeit Angels," two villains play on a Pong table. When the phone rings, one of them orders the other to answer it, despite his complaints that he'll lose his points.
  • In the Emergency! episode "Limelight," a TV set can be seen in the background playing Pong during one rescue.
  • The Muppets Mayhem: Dr. Teeth and Floyd play a game of Pong at the beginning of "Track 2: True Colors".
  • In the Hart to Hart episode "'Tis the Season to be Murdered," Jonathan plays Pong in a toy store he owns while Jennifer cheers him on.
  • Weird Science: In the episode "The Most Dangerous Wish", Lisa brings a video game villain to life, and he proceeds to capture her, forcing Gary and Wyatt to challenge him to a contest to save her. It ends up being a live-action game of Pong, thanks to Wyatt.

  • Family Guy: A federal agent seems to be playing Pong when he's supposed to be monitoring Peter during his house arrest, but then it's revealed that he's watching Peter running around in a Pong-like fashion.
  • The Simpsons: In the first "Treehouse of Horror" special, aliens Kang and Kodos show off their futuristic advanced technology, which culminates in the Pong game. Unsurprisingly the Simpson family isn't so impressed with that particular invention.
  • Sonic Boom: "Chain Letter" begins with Dr. Eggman playing a game of Pong before receiving the titular chain letter.
  • Tiny Toon Adventures: In "Gang Busters", Buster and Plucky pass the time in a dark jail cell by playing a game of Pong with their illuminated eyeballs.
