- Wayne's World 2: According to Del Preston, Ozzy Ozbourne won't perform until he gets a brandy glass full of brown M&Ms. This is based loosely on a real thing. Van Halen had in their standard contracts
that they had to have a bowl of M&Ms backstage with all of the brown ones removed as a Secret Test of Character to check whether their rider had been followed thoroughly.
- Saturday Night Live: A 2009 sketch had Bill Hader playing Dave Matthews with the actual Dave Matthews playing Ozzy Osbourne and calling "Dave"'s singing stupid.

- The Simpsons: In "Behind The Laughter", it's said that the Simpsons' novelty albums, Simpsons Boogie, Lovely To Love Your Loving, and Simpsons Christmas Boogie swept the Grammy Awards, showing Ozzy expressing disbelief that Simpsons Christmas Boogie won for Best Hardcore/Thrash Metal Album, biting the "head" off a Grammy award, which spouts blood afterwards, parodying Metallica losing to Jethro Tull for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album at the 1989 Grammys.
