  • Cartoon Network:
    • One of the network's Shorties, titled "Musical Evolution", features Pussycats performing their theme song through a variety of eras and musical genres, from country to heavy metal.
    • In an "editorial" promo, Fred accuses Velma of setting Daphne up with Alan, saying "He's me with more muscles".
    • In the "Sidekicks" promo, Alexander is sitting at a table with Shaggy, Tinker and Clamhead, referencing the fact that he and the latter two are all clear expies of Shaggy.
    • The Cartoons That Never Made It short "Heidi and the Yodelers" is essentially a spoof of Josie and the Pussycats where the band is a bunch of stereotypical Swiss yodelers.

Live-Action TV

  • Saturday Night Live: A 2004 Saturday TV Funhouse sketch features an FCC representative introducing clips from cartoons that have been altered to adhere to stricter censorship guidelines. Among them is a scene of Josie and the Pussycats wearing hijabs.

Western Animation

  • Drawn Together: In "Foxxy vs. the Board of Education", Foxxy dejectedly looks at various cartoon mystery-solvers, including Josie and the Pussycats, after learning that she can't solve mysteries without a license.
  • The Fairly OddParents!: In "Shelf Life", one of the books Tom Sawyer alters with Cosmo's wand is Jason and the Argonauts, which he changes to Jason and the Pussycats. As a result, the sandal-clad band breaks into a parody of the show's theme song.
  • The New Scooby-Doo Movies: In "The Haunted Showboat", the show's cast are the featured guest stars.
  • Robot Chicken:
    • In a sketch from "Plastic Buffet", which spoofs Behind the Music, Dr. Teeth mentions that he slept with Josie during the height of his fame, "back when that meant something".
    • Josie and the Pussycats were featured in "The Bleepin' Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special", with Rachael Leigh Cook and the members of the boy band Du Jour reprising their roles from the live-action film adaptation.
  • The Simpsons: There is an episode titled "Jazzy and the Pussycats".
