- Kind Hearts and Coronets: "Il mio tesoro intanto" from Don Giovanni serves both to introduce the film and as something of a Leitmotif for Louis' mother.
- Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows: Moriarty goes to see Don Giovanni, as do the heroes thinking his target is at the theater. His target and henchman are actually nearby, but their distraction with the play serves him well.

- Interview with the Vampire (2022): In "The Thing Lay Still", it's heavily implied that in the late 1920s, Lestat de Lioncourt had a quickie with the wife of a scholar under the stairs during her husband's dull lecture on Don Giovanni.
