Ghost Girl stands in Blood Shepherd's way, determined to protect Aqua. Enraged by Ghost Girl, Blood Shepherd starts a Duel against her. In this Duel, the loser will lose their account. On the other hand, Aqua reveals the truth about her partner to Blue Girl.

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Daddy Had a Good Reason for Abandoning You: Played for drama. Kengo's father was so fixated on work to the point that he left behind his wife and son, and for unknown reasons he got together with another woman and conceived Emma (aka Kengo's younger half-sister), which only worsens Kengo's animosity towards his father. Come his dying moments, Kengo's father (who was bound to a wheelchair) asks of his own daughter to reach out to Kengo at times of need.
  • Determinator: Blue Girl's resolve to fight is renewed after Aqua proposes that the two team up, and agrees to work together so she won't let Miyu's enduring of her moments during her time as a Lost Incident hostage go to waste.
  • Evolving Credits: ED4 is updated to reflect Blue Girl's Significant Wardrobe Shift to Blue Maiden.
  • Exact Words: Like Blood Shepherd promised, he defeats Ghost Girl on exactly the third turn.
  • One-Hit Kill: Blood Shepherd fully depletes Ghost Girl's LP on the third turn of the Duel, with "Double Sniper" being the contributor to her defeat.
  • The Reveal: Kengo's father was revealed to have left his wife and son because he was heavily fixated at work, and eventually came to be the father of Emma. He also spent his final moments wheelchair bound, and advised his daughter to help Kengo before dying of illness.
  • Significant Wardrobe Shift: Blue Girl once again undergoes an avatar change after she agrees to partner with Aqua, and also changes her Online Alias to Blue Maiden.
  • Transformation Sequence: After Blue Girl announces her partnership with Aqua, she undergoes a fancy, flashy transformation into the Magical Girl-esque Blue Maiden.
  • Wham Shot: Blue Girl's transformation to Blue Maiden, highlighting the renewal of her determination to fight for Miyu.
