Tropes
- Ascended Fangirl: Averted: Polly tried to fight Alti, but is knocked unconscious with one punch. Later, they all decide they aren't capable of matching their idols.
- Audience Surrogate: All three fans of Xena are supposed to represent three stereotypes of fans. Polly represents fans of the action. Clea represents lesbians who believe Xena's subtext is real and Mac represents guys who are horny towards the women of the show.
- Car Fu: Alti uses some impressive car-riding skills to take on Xena. Xena later does some of her own by dropping one on Alti thanks to her chakram.
- Evil Doppelgänger: Alti's plan is to make the Xena clone this.
- High-Voltage Death: Alti suffers this at the hands of Xena.
- Kill the Ones You Love: Alti tries to convince a mentally warped Xena to kill Gabrielle. It doesn't work.
- Off-into-the-Distance Ending: The Clones are seen riding a cab off to the distance with no one else none the wiser.
- Trekkie: Mac reveals he used to be a trekkie.Clea: You were a trekkie?
Mac: Yeah.
Clea:You really 'are'' a nerd.
Mac: Hey, I'm-I'm not-not proud of it, OK? -
You Look Familiar: The actress playing Clea also played ancient fangirl Minya. Polly is one of Lucy Lawless' stunt double as well as Paulina. Mac's actor was also Diomedes and Melas. And Alexis Los Alamos looks a lot like recurring villain Alti... until it's revealed they're one and the same.
