Charles Dickens explains to Yadina that she doesn't need toys to have fun.

This episode includes examples of:

  • An Aesop:
Charles Dickens: Your imagination makes everything more fun!
  • Again with Feeling: Upon arriving in England, the kids hear the sounds of horses approaching and turn around to see that they’re right behind them. Brad shouts “Horses!” excitedly at first, but then repeats himself in a more fearful tone when he realizes they’ll get trampled by the horses if they don’t get out of the way quickly.
  • Bearded Baby: Charles Dickens has a full beard and mustache despite being portrayed as the same age as the rest of the kids.
  • Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs:
Yadina: A box! Is it full of fun stuff to do? Toys? Games? Toys and games?
  • The Ground Is Lava: The kids play this game at the beginning of the episode and jump from stacks of Charles Dickens’ books to avoid the lava.
  • Kids Prefer Boxes: At the end of the episode, the kids play with a cardboard box and imagine that it’s a castle.
  • Living Drawing: Yadina uses her imagination to pretend Charles Dickens’ drawing of an octopus has come to life.
  • Mr. Imagination: Charles Dickens, who teaches Yadina the power of using your imagination.
  • Rain, Rain, Go Away: Yadina is bored because it’s been raining for three days straight and she’s already played with all her toys.
  • Shout-Out: Two of Charles Dickens' stories, Oliver Twist and A Christmas Carol, are depicted at the beginning of the episode.
