Season 1, Episode 4 of X-Men: Evolution.
Fred Dukes (Blob), a former sideshow entertainer from Texas, gets enlisted by Mystique into Bayville High. But his short temper and blubbery girth prevents him from making any necessary friends. He does get some help from Jean Grey in finding his way around the school, but things take a turn for the worse when he mistakes this for romantic love.
This episode provides examples of:
- Bullying a Dragon: Duncan and his friends go after the Blob after he accidentally throws food on them in the cafeteria. This was after the former had seen him rip a bunch of lockers off of the wall, lift them over his head, and nearly crush him with them.
- Eating Lunch Alone: Blob decides to sit by himself at a table away from everyone else rather than sit with the other Brotherhood members. It's because he hasn't made friends with them yet.
- Food Fight: Blob accidentally starts one, complete with the requisite kid announcing it.
- Freudian Excuse: Blob has been treated like garbage for most of his life and now acts out.
- Stalker with a Crush: Fred. When he thinks that Jean's refusal to hang out with him is an insult (rather than simply that she has stuff to do).
