The Landlord Lord has threatened Master Frown and Brock with eviction unless they fix their apartment. Brock invites Unikitty and the gang to help, however instead of doing what the guys want, she proceeds to make their place exactly like her’s.
This episode includes examples of:
- Answer Cut: Brock says he knows who can help them clean their apartment, and then the scene cuts to Unikitty excitedly saying “We’ll do it!”.
- Cranky Landlord: The titular landlord, of course.
- Dark Reprise: After they’ve accepted their fate of living on the streets, Master Frown and Brock sing their omelet song again, but with a much more solemn tone and depressing lyrics.Omelette, garbage omelette. Omelette, salmonella every day.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: When Unikitty and her friends form the Fabulous Fun Fixing Club and start working on Frown and Brock’s apartment, it’s filmed as if they’re the stars of an HGTV home renovation show - right down to their plaid shirts.
- Fireball Eyeballs: Fleebee gets these when Unikitty tries to use some of her flowers to decorate the apartment.
- The Inspector Is Coming: Master Frown and Brock get a surprise visit from Lord Landlord to make sure they’re keeping their apartment in good order. Suffice to say, they’re not.
- Literal-Minded: Frown thinks in order for them to invoke their squatters rights, he and Brock need to literally be in a squatting position.
- Overly Long Gag: The gang beating a pile of clothes and screaming after it spoke to them.
- Poster Patchup: Frown and Brock try to use this method to cover up a hole in their apartment wall, but their landlord isn’t fooled.
- Race Against the Clock: The two roommates have until sundown the next day to clean up their apartment before Lord Landlord evicts them.
- Reveal Shot: While looking at all of the horrific messes throughout the apartment, the Fabulous Fun Fixing Club’s attention shifts to a surprisingly sparkling clean sofa. However, the camera pans out to reveal that they were actually looking at a photo of a sofa hanging directly over the real sofa which is just as disgusting as everything else.
- Skewed Priorities: The biggest concern for Frown and Brock regarding being kicked out of their apartment is not having a place to cook omelets.
- Split-Screen Reaction: We see Master Frown and Brock’s nervous expressions in this way while Lord Landlord is inspecting their apartment.
- Sudden Anatomy: Brock develops nostrils when he takes a calming breath right before begging Lord Landlord not to kick them out.
- To the Tune of...: Frown and Brock sing a song about omelets to the tune of “Alouette, Gentille Alouette”.
- Trash of the Titans: Master Frown and Brock’s apartment is a disgusting mess, so much so that it leads their landlord to evict them.
- We Will Meet Again: After he’s defeated, Lord Landlord tells Frown and Brock that he’ll be back…tomorrow with a plumber to snake the drains.
