Little Prince Puppycorn is the 13th episode of the Cartoon Network animated show Unikitty!.
Tropes
- An Aesop: Nepotism's not always the answer. Leaders should be appointed based on ability, not being related to someone who is a leader.
- Artistic License – Economics: Puppycorn declares that from now on, people will pay for things with high-5s instead of money.
- Bad "Bad Acting": The main cast prove to be really untalented actors during their stage play at the end where Puppycorn fakes his death. Though the citizens were gullible enough to buy it, so it worked, that's all that matters.
- Balloon Belly: Dino Dude after eating so much pizza gets so fat his feet can't touch the ground.
- Democracy Is Flawed: Ignorance of the masses definitely applies here.
- Didn't Think This Through: Puppycorn could have just taken Unikitty's advice on how to restore the kingdom back before he tarnished it rather than try to step down or fake his death to let Unikitty become princess again.
- Fingore: Feebee's hands and fingers get ruined from all those hi-5s when Puppycorn abolishes money in favor of hi-5s as payment for goods and services.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: When Puppycorn is drawing up on a chalkboard trying to discuss answers with the robots on finding more food for the citizens, you can see that his chalkboard doesn't show him actually trying to draw up answers, but he's drawing himself having fun.
- Idiot Ball: Puppycorn for his really bad ideas on being prince, but also Unikitty for also allowing Puppycorn to take the throne.
- Nepotism: Unikitty handing the throne over to Puppycorn.
- Popular Is Dumb: Prince Puppycorn.
- Spoiled Brat: As if Unikitty didn't spoil them enough, Puppycorn makes the citizens even more spoiled. Everyone in Unikingdom selfishly want Puppycorn to remain in power because they know if they got Unikitty back, they can't enjoy their unlimited boundaries Puppycorn granted them anymore.
- Torches and Pitchforks: The citizens threaten to riot using this if Puppycorn steps down.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Puppycorn absolutely loves pepperoni pizza, and apparently so does everyone in Unikingdom.
