Be ready to chant his name again!
Suddenly, a unidentified robot fell from the sky!

Following that event, visitors appear one by one. An eccentric alien with a bird on his shoulder. A defense force member that's not from GUTS-Select. And finally... another Ultraman!?

A new battle for Trigger and GUTS-Select now begins!

Tropes:

  • Actor Allusion: Once again, a rogue treasure hunter played by Kei Hosagai ends up at odds with a space pirate and its talking bird.
  • Call-Back:
    • The episode opens with Z and Sevenger chasing an Alien Barossa who has stolen King Joe STORAGE Custom in outer space before the Barossa is able to drive them off by using a Bullton to open a black hole to suck them in. Unlike Genegarg/Celebro, the Barossa ends up caught in the crossfire of the black hole and sucked in as well. Not unlike the start of Z where Zero and Z chased Genegarg and Zero ended up sucked into a black hole after Genegarg spat out a Bullton at him.
    • Once again, Haruki fails at transforming into Z the first time with a new Transformation Trinket. This time with the GUTS Sparklence, when Haruki accidentally shots Z's right leg when using the Z Hyper Key on the device and both of them are confused on how it works.
    • To grow giant, this series' Alien Barossa employs a Juran seed just like the second Barossa did.
  • Continuity Cavalcade: Barossa and Ignis' stolen artifacts include: Alien Zarab's portable electric brain (which he uses to hear Kengo, Akito, Haruki and Ultraman Z's conversation), an Okorin Ball parasite, a Bugdalas scale, a miniature Desimonia and Kodaigon The Other's Sea Bream companion.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • King Joe STORAGE's inside's compartments have the two halves of Bulton left after Ultraman Z defeated it, which the Alien Barossa combines to summon it back again
    • Sevenger is outfitted with its Space Sevenger upgrades, which first appeared in the interquel to Ultraman Z, Sevenger Fight.
  • Crossover: With Ultraman Z featuring the return of the titular Ultra and his host, Haruki Natsukawa.
  • Downer Beginning: The episode opens with Ultraman Z and Haruki getting sucked into a black hole by Alien Barossa's summoned Bulton and their Ultra Medals getting stolen by said Barossa's pet Zandrias.
  • Gratuitous English: Z introduces himself this way to Haruki and Akito.
  • History Repeats: Just like his predecessors/mentors: Seven, Zero and Geed, Z ends up with his Transformation Trinket damaged in a fierce battle leaving his human host unable to transform. Like Zero and Geed, he gets to use the new hero's own Transformation Trinket as a replacement while his own device is fixed.
  • Hypocrite: Both Ignis and the Barossa end up calling each other dishonorable for their thieving ways but claim that their respective methods are "more honorable" each.
  • Noodle Incident: How Barossa got his hands on a Kodaigon fish is unknown, which Ignis himself lampshades.
  • Pet the Dog: Ignis returns Z's medals to the Ultra as a sign of gratitude for being saved from Barossa.
