- And the Adventure Continues: Part 1 ends in episode 3, with Maga-Orochi destroyed and the next episode will be focusing on the past. But Tartarus is still active and the Space Garrisons are on the investigation of the golden warrior.
- Badass Boast: He delivers one after ambushing 80's strike team.Absolute Tartarus: I am a warrior from the Ultimate Life Form, Absolutian, Absolute Tartarus.
- Big Damn Heroes: Xenon comes in time to deliver the Max Galaxy, recharging Max's energies and allowing all three Ultras to kill Maga-Orochi.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Apart from the Gudis Cell mutation, Max became almost uncontrollable and fought Ribut before he was cured of the infection.
- Call-Back: Cosmos made a passing mention about the Planet Earth that he, Zero and Dyna had protected to the Ultra Warriors when confirming that he and Justice were sent here because of a strange energy source in Nebula M78's vicinity.
- Determinator: Ribut is hellbent on rescuing Max after taking the blame for his fall, and he succeeded.
- The Dreaded: Apparently for someone who proclaims to be an Ultimate Life Form, Tartarus was quick to chicken out when Legend shows up.
- Field Promotion: Ribut and Sora were promoted to officers of the Galaxy Rescue Force, allowing them to work with Andro Melos, Izana (War God) and Gukuru Shisa.
- I Owe You My Life: The Alien Sran is dedicated to Tartarus' cause after the golden warrior saved his life in the past. Unfortunately Tartarus resort to kill him once Sran fail to even protect Maga Orochi.
- Mythology Gag: Xenon showing up to support Max and Ribut by charging the former's energy was a stunt did by Zoffy back when Ace was weakened underground and recharging Ace with the Ultra Converter in episode 5 of Ultraman Ace. Bonus points for Xenon being a Captain Ersatz of Zoffy back in Ultraman Max.
- So Proud of You: Max told Ribut that he had faith in the young warrior.
- The Stinger: After the ending credits, Alien Sran was revealed to have survived his defeat by Ultraman Great, long enough to be killed by Tartarus for his incompetence. Oh and Tartarus' presence went detected by Ultraman King on his home planet.
- You Have Failed Me: Tartarus kills Sran for failing to protect Maga-Orochi.
