Cloud Guy is upset by the end of his and Branch’s rivalry, but Branch gets overly suspicious of Cloud Guy's lack of pranks.

Tropes:

  • Bad "Bad Acting": Biggie tries his best to be a good rival to Cloud Guy, but his acting isn’t believable and he immediately apologizes after doing something as cruel as threatening to invite Cloud Guy over for dessert and “not give him seconds.”
  • Booby Trap: The episode begins with Cloud Guy booby-trapping Branch’s house with pranks in order to get a rise out of him.
  • Crazy Cat Lady: Cloud Guy says that now that his rivalry with Branch is over, it’s time to enter the “crazy cat phase” of his life, even going so far as to create little cloud cats.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: The rivalry between Branch and Cloud Guy ending is portrayed like a couple breaking up after they’ve grown apart.
Branch: It’s just, we’ve had a lot of adventures together now, and, over time, you and I have just… grown together.
  • Flipping the Table: Smidge does this out of anger when Branch makes Cloud Guy spill the bucket of berries he was collecting, thus ruining her chance to have her annual Flavorberry Pie.
  • Properly Paranoid: Branch suspects that Cloud Guy really hasn’t given up on pranking him and that it’s all just a ploy for one big, irritating prank yet to come. Poppy thinks he’s crazy, but it turns out he was right to be paranoid as Cloud Guy’s behavior really was just to get Branch back to hating him in full force again.
  • Stalker without a Crush: Cloud Guy is revealed to be this with his behavior of breaking into Branch’s house, stealing his house keys, and even putting a tracking device on him.
  • Water Guns and Balloons: Cloud Guy pranks his seemingly new rival, Rufus, with a Rube Goldberg Device that drops a giant water balloon on him.
  • Yearning for a Nemesis: Cloud Guy is desperate to have his rivalry with Branch back.

Biggie has been picked to host this year’s Funsgiving dinner, but is worried that it won't be perfect.

Tropes:

  • An Aesop: Holidays aren’t about everything being perfect, but rather spending time with loved ones.
  • Running Gag: Branch getting everything over-explained to him.
  • Spin the Bottle: A variation of this, called “Spin the Fuzzbert,” is used to pick who will host Funsgiving dinner.
  • Thanksgiving Episode: The Trolls’ “Funsgiving” is clearly their equivalent of Thanksgiving, except during their holiday they play with the feast.
  • Visual Pun: Seen many times in this episode, but most notably in the traditional Funsgiving dish, Diced Fruit, which is literally a six-sided die made out of purple fruit.
  • You Know What They Say: Invoked by this exchange between Biggie, Branch, and Poppy.
Biggie: You know what they say: "Without a good diced fruit, Funsgiving is a shameful cataclysm of humiliation."
    Branch: They don't say that.
Poppy: Actually, they do. But they shouldn't.
  • You Mean X Mas: Funsgiving is very similar to the American holiday of Thanksgiving - gathering with friends and family for a huge feast.
