Clover is stuck babysitting Chucky, the obnoxious son of her Mom's best friend, on Halloween night, but luckily she's able to get Sam and Alex to hang out with her so it won't be such a drag.

- Disproportionate Retribution: Mandy literally raises the dead because Sam accidentally ripped her dress. And when she thinks that didn’t work, she breaks into the house of the kid they’re babysitting just to scare them.

- Episode of the Dead: his episode is all about the Spies fighting zombies on Halloween.

- Harassing Phone Call: The phone keeps ringing at Chuckie’s house, but when Clover answers there’s no one there. When someone finally responds, she probably wishes that they hadn’t.Caller: I know where you are.Clover: Is that you Todd?...Chaz?...Jason?
- Indian Burial Ground: According to Chucky, Vista Verde was built on an “ancient evil scary place”.
- It's Probably Nothing: When they hear footsteps upstairs, Sam tries to find a rational explanation.Sam: It’s probably just the house settling.
- Living Crashpad: While trying to lower Mandy over a ledge, Clover and Alex drop her and she lands on Sam.
- Number of the Beast: When Sam scans the zombies, she notes that the “transmissions were at a frequency of 666 gigahertz”.
- One of the Kids: As usual, Alex is the Kiddie Kid of the group as she’s the only one who wants to trick-or-treat, joins in with Chucky chanting “trick-or-treating!”, and argues with him about what candy is the best.
- Our Zombies Are Different: Apparently these zombies can make phone calls. Also, the way people are turned into zombies is by being sent through a portal of pure electricity.
- Pretty Fly for a White Guy: Jerry in his highly offensive “Ice J” costume.
- Rhyming Wizardry: Done twice by Mandy, once when she reads from a Spell Book and then again when she makes her own Curse.
- “Spirits below, rise from your slumber. Leave your grave, turn the earth under. Blot out the moon with your dark hand, wander hungrily across this land.”
- “Hills of Beverly, trees of palm, boutiques on Rodeo for my mom, take this coffee that is french roast, make Sam and Alex fear the most, make Clover freak out worst of all, when zombies rise and raid them all, like terrors they have never seen, curse these girls on Halloween!”
- Smoke Out: Alex’s pixie stick gadget creates a big cloud of smoke that allows her and Sam to escape the zombies undetected.
- Urban Legend: Chucky tells the girls the legend of Vista Verde Estates and Sam even labels the story as this.
- Visible Sigh: Sam does one after Alex blows their cover when they’re disguised as zombies.
- Zombie Apocalypse: Mandy unleashes a horde of zombies upon the housing complex of Vista Verde in order to scare the Spies. Although, throughout the episode, they’re mostly called ghouls.
