Harmony frames Mawile for Monferno's elimination last episode, who plans to expose her for it, while Skuntank forms a compromise with Harmony after finding out she flipped. The Final 13 (sans Phanpy) are put in groups of four and are tasked to cook a dish for the three judges, being Medicham, Chef Mamoswine and ex-contestant Lickitung.

- Big "WHAT?!": The Final 13's reaction upon Medicham saying after the challenge that the first contestant eliminated at this episode's elimination will also become the first jury member.
- The Cameo: Lickitung makes one as one of the three judges for the challenge.
- Clear My Name: After finding out from Harmony!Kirlia that she framed her for Monferno's elimination, Mawile tried to do this during the challenge. However, except Machoke, no one, not even their alliance, wanted to believe them. Justified by Gliscor in the confessional due to lack of proof on either side and the belief that Harmony would get nothing from eliminating Monferno even though she would.
- Fire-Breathing Diner: During the challenge, Harmony purposely sprinkles ghost peppers onto Mawile's Tauros Burgers. This causes Medicham, Chef Mamoswine and Lickitung to spit out fire when Mawile serves them out, thus causing the latter's group to lose the challenge.
- Frame-Up: Mawile gets framed for flipping her vote towards Monferno last episode instead of Harmony, which results in the former's elimination. Except Machoke, no-one else believed Mawile.
- Irony: Harmony/Kirlia and Mawile were the Bottom 2 of this episode's elimination ceremony, which results in Mawile leaving. They also were the Bottom 2 of Episode 6's elimination ceremony, but with Kirlia, still a Ralts, leaving instead.
- Never My Fault: Harmony frames Mawile for Monferno's elimination by agreeing with Beautifly that she would get nothing from eliminating her "allies" even though she would.
- Oh, Crap!: Gliscor upon finding out this episode's challenge is a cooking challenge. Justified since he states during the challenge that he can't cook.
- Revenge Reveal Story: Upon Mawile finding out about Harmony/Kirlia flipping her vote to eliminate Monferno last episode, she asks why she did it. Harmony/Kirlia claims that she did this as payback for eliminating her in Episode 6 and for "keeping a close eye on her". Subverted since Harmony/Kirlia later states that she only eliminated Monferno as an alibi to frame Mawile and did not tell her that she did as part of her plan to implode Venusaur's alliance.
- Who's Laughing Now?: Subverted by Skuntank when voting for Mawile to spare Harmony to further himself:Skuntank: Well, look who's in a power position now! Chaw-Haw-Haw!
- You Can't Thwart Stage One: No matter what Mawile does to prove her innocence over Harmony/Kirlia, she always finds a way to ensure others believe her over Mawile as part of her and Gastrodon's plan to tear Venusaur's alliance apart.
