Tropes:
- Double-Meaning Title: 'Nasty' describes two things, the porn videos that Mike and Vyvyan acquired and the state of their bathtub.
- How We Got Here: The students tell some people at the beginning of the episode how the funeral they are at came to be.
- Not Hyperbole: Vyvyan tells the audience that if anyone else asks if the students got a video, he will stick their head through the window. He makes good on his threat when Neil asks him, and Vyvyan tears a window seal with some of the wall still on it and smashes it through Rick's head.
- Running Gag: People asking, "Have we got a video?" and Vyvyan exasperatedly confirms it.
