Bittersweet Ending: Hitomi, Van, and Allen are able to prove 'Plactu' was an imposter and that they were framed by Zaibach (and that such an elaborate subterfuge confirms an invasion is nigh). Unfortunately, Hitomi is unable to save Zongi from the horrific death she foresaw in her vision. Worse, they fail to stop Zongi from briefing Dilandau on what he learned during his interrogation of Hitomi. So, Zaibach now knows all about Hitomi, her divination, and that she's from the Mystic Moon.
Once More, with Clarity: After learning the truth about Hitomi, Dilandau flashes back to his previous encounters since Episode 3 as he now finally understands what the hell's been going on.
Spanner in the Works: Even with the discovery of Zongi's deception, Van and Hitomi only have circumstansial evidence to prove it (and Dilandau murdering Zongi robs them of any hard proof). So, the Zaibach Frame-Up could still have worked...if Freid monks hadn't, by sheer chance, discovered the real Plactu's body.
You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: A variation. Dilandau executes Zongi after hearing his report, but not because he's no longer useful to Folken or Zaibach. Rather, Dilandau executes the doppelganger as revenge for the death of Miguel.
