Hefty and Scaredy as girls.
Scaredy and Hefty accidentally break Papa Smurf's telescope while cleaning his lab, so they disguise themselves as girls to avoid punishment. When Smurfette learns about this, she helps them blend in with the others. However, it becomes harder to keep up the act when Papa Smurf tells them about the Iron Smurf Girls Tournament, a competition where Smurfettes compete against each other to keep an egg from breaking.
This episode has the following tropes:
- Agony of the Feet: Smurfette steps on Hefty's foot with her heel to make him sing at a higher pitch.
- Attractive Bent-Gender: Dimwitty is attracted to at least one of the two male Smurfs dressed as girls.
- Disguised in Drag:Hefty and Scaredy disguise themselves as female Smurfs when they accidentally break Papa Smurf's telescope.
- Foreshadowing: Papa Smurf and Smurfette wink at each other before the Iron Smurf Girls tournament indicating that Papa Smurf is aware that they are Scaredy and Hefty or that Smurfette told him before.
- Instant Soprano: In a variation of this trope, Smurfette gets Hefty to sing at the higher notes by stepping on his foot with her heel while he was disguised as a girl Smurf.
- Spit Take: Hefty and Scaredy do this when they hear Papa Smurf wishing them (as girl Smurfs) good luck at the Iron Smurf Girls tournament.
