Russo and Nolan confront a pregnancy scare that results in some hard questions over whether or not their relationship can move forward. Russo only has a few years of fertility left and chooses to pursue a baby now while Nolan isn't ready for more kids. This results in their break up.
Lopez takes a private security job and ends up guarding a high profile businessman. Bradford and West try to help out the Watts Rams as coaches, and they help rescue the mother of one of the team from heavily armed kidnappers. Chen and Harper are assigned to one another, and struggle to find common ground before they work together to capture a bomber.
