Downer Ending: As Team Naofumi is about to escape to Sikul, Raphtalia's teleportation is canceled by Kyo, who wants to separate her from Naofumi just to make him suffer. As Raphtalia charges at Kazuki to prevent him from killing Naofumi, the group gets teleported away as Naofumi screams her name in despair as Kyo sadistically laughs.
Gem Tissue: The Jewel People — which Theresa is revealed to be a member of — have gemstones imbedded in their bodies.
Our Elves Are Different: The Grass People — or "Grass" — are a race of demihumans that Naofumi notes resembling classic ideas of elves, being blonde-haired with pointed ears.
Our Spirits Are Different: Glass is revealed to be a member of a race of ghost-like people called Spirit People, or "Spirits". They are unable to level-up and rely entirely on their own energy, and their ethereal forms make regular attacks ineffective against them. Because of this, Naofumi's SP-replenishing elixir is incredibly valuable to them.
Random Effect Spell: It's revealed that random drop items have Unpredictable Results when used on Cardinal Heroes from other worlds. When Naofumi uses an Earth Crystal, which normally restores MP, he gets a massive increase in EXP. When he gives Kizuna Magic Water, it increased the EXP in her Cardinal Weapon.
This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Naofumi manages to wrack up quite a bit of money selling soul potions, his salesmanship highly valuable at this time.
