- Failed a Spot Check: Sir points out how stupid the main characters were to not notice a screaming and angry Erik looming over them.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: The eye of Nightmareus.
- Shout-Out: Erik's sadistic choice is accompanied by the intro music for 'Deal or No Deal'. His speech even fits it!
- Take That!: To Billy Zane's 'The Phantom'.
- That Came Out Wrong: When Sir mentions a phantom, Billy Zane's Phantom shows up, much to the knight's displeasure.
