Recap / The Real Ghostbusters Slimer 5 Cash Or Slime

Go To

Slimer is playing with a yo-yo, when he sees on a calendar that it's Chilly's birthday. Thus, he flies to the store to try to find a gift to buy for her. He tries the kiddie car but accidentally makes a big mess and drives over a man's foot. He talks to the man, who thinks Slimer is a woman due to him accidentally wearing some women's clothes that fell on him.

He flies out of the clothes and tries the perfumes, then a woman runs away in fear when she sees him. He goes to talk to the man from before, who also fears Slimer and calls the police. The man says a rant over the phone to the police chief that ends in "I saw a ghost", so the chief laughs, but he also decides it needs investigating anyway and lets Bruiser out.

Slimer searches for a hat to buy for Chilly, when Bruiser chases him into the cash register. Slimer then hits him using the register's draw, and Bruiser crashes through the wall and lands in a pile of baby clothes. Then, Bruiser chases Slimer into an inflatable raft, but Slimer gets out and deflates the raft while Bruiser is in it, sending him flying.

Slimer hides in a TV, which Bruiser bashes up, then Slimer appears on more televisions, all of which Bruiser bashes up. The policeman gets angry that Bruiser hasn't caught Slimer and threatens to "cream [Bruiser] like a mushroom soup" if he fails.

Slimer buys Chilly a present and goes to package it, but sees the police guy and Bruiser, so he hides in the gift box. The cop and Bruiser hit all the other gift boxes with mallets, then lie to the man who initially saw Slimer that they caught him.

Then, Chilly gets given her present (a bottle of perfume) and Slimer comes out of the bottle to wish her a happy birthday.
