After an accident in the lab, the girls become worried for the Professor's safety and seek to protect him from all the potential dangers he could face. However things becomes complicated when a baby is hit by the Professor's giant ray and runs amuck downtown, forcing the girls to try and protect their father while dealing with the threat.
Tropes:
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: A baby is hit by the giant ray the Professor was working on earlier and run loose through the city.
- Failed a Spot Check: The mother of the baby who doesn't even realize her child was even grown to giant size or that he had left the carriage with the baby falling back into it with her none the wiser.
- Here We Go Again!: At the end of the episode, the professor knocks himself again and Buttercup asks if they need to break out the safety bubble again.
- Mundane Made Awesome: The Professor was making the ray so he could enlarge pancakes.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: The whole conflict starts because Buttercup was putting pepper on a pancake as the Professor was trying to delicately put the power source in the ray machine, causing him to sneeze, the power source to break and explode in the Professor's hands.
- Rage Against the Reflection: The Professor to himself when he debates with himself on going to help the girls. He actually goes all Papa Wolf on himself to do so.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Buttercup has no problem with attacking a giant baby causing Blossom to reprimand her for even trying it.
